don't you hate being called anorexic/bulimic by other people when you skip lunch or something? IT'S CALLED FAST METABOLISM, DUUDDESSS. these kids in my class always call me anorexic. anorexic anorexic anorexic and i eat so much. for my size, at least. and i'm always "anorexic".

It's true!
If I don't eat lunch or something people start getting worried and calling me anorexic.
I seriously would NEVER be anorexic..I love food too much - I got lucky with an extremely fast metabolism, and I do lots of sports, so that should explain my skinniness.
People shouldn't be so quick to throw out the Anorexic word.

Actually, fat people have faster metabolisms, since thhey have so much more fat they need to use more energy to do things than fit people would.

Same here.
I can't imagine myself skipping lunch. I would be growling for the entire afternoon without lunch (because I eat a lot), which is even more embarrassing than being called as anorexic.

I recently lost a lot of weight and someone spread rumors around that I was bulimic. I had teachers pulling me aside and asking if I was okay, and people looked at me funny. I was so hurt by that.

Although I see their concern. I know some skinny people who are annorexic or bullimic becaue they think they are fat when they are already really skinny. I'm sure it gets anoying when you aren't but still i can see their concern.

I can relate. I was made fun of through elem, middle, and high school for being so skinny and people would always remind me to eat something like I'm stupid. I'm still skinny now but I don't get as much hateful comments... just the same "eat something" comments. ugh.

I totally agree with this topic. People are always telling me I'm skinny and everything, but I always tell them I'm not anorexic. I love food too much to just...not eat.
Whenever people just meet me, here's how the chat with my friends goes:
New Friend: Is Deb anorexic? She's really skinny.
My Friends: Just wait 'til you see her eat. You'll never say she's anorexic again.

If ur a twig tell them you have a hyperactive thyroid. Aka SUPER FAST METABOLISM but it sounds ore impressive when you say that. My boyfriends sister has that problem and she has to wear childrens clothes cuz shes so skinnt.

One of my really close friends weighs about 98 pounds and is quite tall so she kind of reminds me of a walking stick. I still love her :D
She does hate it when people call her anorexic though. Even though people aren't saying it to me, it bugs me when I hear it when I'm with her. It makes me wanna punch their face in because they don't know what the hell they're talking about

The next day they we're all going to make me eat.. so, I sat down and out ate them all.. They never said anything since.
I dont like my schools foods so I wait till I go home to eat.

I hate hate hate it when my friends constantly tell me how skinny I am. It gets so annoying. I'm sure it's just as annoying if someone telling you how fat yoou are then how skinny you are. Some people are so skinny they WANT to get fatter.. or at least gain weight. But I can't gain weight, or it's like really hard, and it's just as annoying hearing it.

Psh. And the thing is I bet you are a cute, thin size and they are calling you anorexic/bul. But I bet these people would die to be your size. My sister has a nice, curvy, but thin body, and all her family members ask her if she eats and try to act like her size is so HORIBBLE, but then they talk about how they would love to be her size. If these people keep telling you this it could be jealousy and I bet they would definitely wanna trade, honeygirl (or they probably NEED to).
Just think about the people that constantly say this, I bet they're the one's always complaining about their body.

oh yes same here i just want to tell them "STFU , i know!" i have the same problem too and they shouldnt be calling skinny people aneroxic cause it aint nice! i get so offended when they make fun of me im trying to do something about it but all they do is building stress on top of me which make me depress & dont want to eat! it like saying someone is short okay yea i think they hear that all the time so what if they short they cant do nothing about it so they have a gree whtever the people is saying...& i eat alot of fat food i mean alot but to me the fat never kick in i just hope i dont blow up later in my years even though i eat alot of fat food & still skinny it still unhealthy for my body. fast metabolism ehh sucks?!

very, very true.
the skinny people have slow metabolisms. something about not using food or something. i learned it.
anyways, thats a lot like me. im 5'7, 102 lbs. for my height, i should be about 120. but on my good days, im about 105.
its so hard to gain weight. when i try, it goes to my stomach and all it does is stretch my stomach. as in, my organ.

Hmmm interesting. Well I've always been a scrawny kid and I'd eat like 5 to 6 times a day trying to gain but then again I've always kept myself active i.e. working out, wrestling, jogging, whatever. I mean food is energy and I love to be full of it. Enjoy the metabolism and eat.

I have been skinny my entire life and love it. I am 5'9 125 lbs, and do not gain weight, at all. Being a male, I still have high muscle mass, so my body is very toned. But there is no fat. I've been made fun of for it, but now I don't give a shit.
Pale skinny sex is the best :) It's easy to move around when both people are so thin. I do not feel at all ashamed of my body and would not hesitate to walk around shirtless.
Oh, I eat around 4,000 calories a day.

The term anorexia means loss of appetite or inability to eat
so in some way they are right
if your not hungry it means u lost ur appetite
btw saying that if you can see ur ribs your aneroxic
is wayy more sterotypical than someone calling you anorexic
because u dont eat.
