Both NY teams have shitty bullpens.

Dunno what the Yankees were thinking rushing Wang back to the starting rotation. CC and Texeira have not been earning their paychecks yet. Cano is on fire though. And Nick Swisher is the man.

I think CC will be a bust and the Yank-mes will regret that contract. It's bad enough that he was doing bad against those weak AL Central lineups, but now he is with the beasts of the east.

The Mets have the better bullpen overall though which still isn't saying much lmao.

What I like about CC though is that he can eat innings and save the bullpen.

I disagree about the Mets having the better bullpen, at least while Wagner is still out. The Yankees pen is worse statistically than it actually is because they had to bail out Wang's shitty starts.

hahaha ouch, mets bullpen blows it

Poor Johan, he should be 5-0 by now. You'd better hope he doesn't get pissed and demand a trade.

Johan is gonna break his back trying to carry that pitching staff the way he is. I really feel bad for the guy. He's not getting the run support/lead protection he deserves.

I haven't got much regard for baseball. I know some people enjoy it but I really cannot get myself to enjoy the sport. That and it seems like baseball has a lot more controversial drug usage type bullshit, etc.

I think baseball is one of those things that either you're a lifelong fan of it, or you'll find it boring and the most you'll do is watch your team only when they're good. I can understand people finding baseball boring, but to people who grow up loving the game, when they see a batter fouling off pitch after pitch after pitch on a 3-2 count, they don't see it as boring, they see it as a magnificent performance.

I suppose though, it's a lot easier to be a fan in the NY area than in Texas. The rivalry between Mets/Yankees going through elementary school pretty much forces you to take a side from a young age lol.

[edit]

Also, in fairness to Javonn, Yankees bullpen gave up 5 runs :( Good thing we had a 7 run lead though, so we still won :P

Mets gotta give Johann run support if the bullpen isn't gonna hold his leads. A 3-2 lead isn't gonna cut it with that bullpen.
