Hi guys, I thought I'd support the community by requesting a little here and there.

THEME: I'd totally love you guys if you could whip out a few new Alvin and the chipmunks avatars or signatures. (100x100 would be the perfect size so I can use it for my avvie as well.)

If it's not too much trouble at all; I'd like to request a layout with the following:

TYPE OF SERVICE: Myspace Layout
THEME: Vector
I would like this to be a default myspace layout; there is no set picture I had in mind. It would just be something like a vector wallpaper type layout like something seen on Deviant Art; I would like it to be colorful. Preferable rainbow type colors (hot pink, bright orange or purple, etc.); there's is also no particular font I had in mind; you can choose one to go with the theme. It would nice to have it animated in some way (however you'd like to animate it is fine with me.
OTHER: If there is anything else you may need you can just pm me and let me know; I'll just let ya work ya magic; the CB designers are awesome so I'll let you do what you do.

THEME: I'd like the theme to be around the song "Ghetto Gospel" and this picture:

It's for our chamber choir hoodie and I need it cleaned up so the edges are smooth and looks like it was designed on photoshop.

I'm not sure if it's what you wanted but http://www.mikeplyts.net/images/5_star_designs_logo.png is what I came up with.

http://www.mikeplyts.net/images/5_star_designs_transparent_logo.png is the transparent version. The first one has a white background.

I have two requests, which go hand-in-hand. For now, I'm looking for free services, since my budget is 0. However, if the result is good I would like to be working with the same designers in the future too, when I am able to pay as well.

The LOGO & MySpace design are for my Artist MySpace which has gathered around ~ 20,000 views during the past year. The artist profile is for my solo work which has started a year ago. You can expect the amount of views to be at least tripled during the next year. So even if its not paying you cash, your work would get attention.

The music is electronic dance music, mostly house/electro with a bit twisted attitude, and I would like the work to reflect that attitude a bit. I can throw in examples if needed.

If you are interested, drop me a PM and I'll deliver you the photos you could use.

THEME: Basicly my name and perhaps a version with my face (as a banner). I would like the logo to have a bit of in-your-face attitude, but i'm very open to suggestions in this matter.

I need a campaign logo created for a school project (the logo itself is NOT the actual project, and we have been given permission to outsource such tasks).

here's a rough template of the design:

the concept is a "y" that includes the stars and stripes, and is also a torch (represented by the flame at the top of the y)

the actual letter must obviously be much more smooth in the final design. also, the stripes in the right part of the y (red and white alternating, with red stripes at either extreme - at the edge of the letter and closest to the left) should be smooth and somewhat even. these stripes were inspired by the stripes found on the obama campaign logo.

the left part of the y will be blue. it may or may not contain the white stars depicted in the rough draft depending on how it looks in the final design.

the white flame is where it gets tricky. if placed on a solid background (other than white) the flame can be white and viewed easily. we can also use a gradient to depict the "light" just as the obama logo uses gradient to symbolize a rising sun. but we're not sure what to do if the logo is placed on a white background - how would we make the flame visible? use a red outline and a flame-shape interior in white?

we need to get the basic design layout done first before we add any fancy shadowing/gradients. feel free to add any watermarks to works in progress that haven't been paid for.

the designer will be compensated between $5-15 depending on the quality of the final design. further compensation may be awarded for exceptional work/copies of the logo in multiple colors, etc. payments will be made via paypal. if you feel that this is not enough compensation for your work, please do not reply.

if we do not find any final design suitable for our needs (and therefore do not use the design), we reserve the right to refuse the designer any compensation for labor.

Not to be rude, but I feel like requiring someone to have a certain amount of posts in order to purchase a layout isn't right. I'm a band manager and too busy to make 50 posts. If I had that much free time I would just learn how to make them myself and save bands money.

Is there a reason behind having to have that many posts? I completely understand if someone is requesting a free layout... but if they're paying I don't get why they have to post that much.
