I've noticed that many of the members here at cB are super talented artistically, with all your graphics, photography, and so on. So I was wondering how your drawings from back in the day look.

Now, I've never really been good at art, but it wouldn't be right for me to start this thread without posting up some of my own work! So here are some from when I was 5...

1. My self-portrait

2. A picture of... my mom (?) decorating the Christmas tree. I don't know what the hell I wrote in the caption box.

3. Butterflies

And just as a little extra, here's a picture a 7-year-old boy drew for me at SFU Summer Camp 2006. It's supposed to be a mouse so caught up in chasing a piece of cheese, he didn't see the "DANGER" sign and is going to fall off a cliff soon.

Aw dang these are so cute! I gotta find some of mine... haha. I would think this belongs in art, but I feel it deserves more attention. The art subforum is kinda bare, like a desert. :c

Hm, you know what? Seeing as nobody's posted their own yet, I'll post another one of my drawings up to keep the ball rolling. =D

This one is from an art class when I was about 6/7?

... I made my mom look like she has a bruised face. Damn those felt pens!

Uhh, here is a series of drawings on frogs I did in the same art class at age seven:

1. The art instructor always told us to pick verbs and draw them... so yeah. xD

2. This was some sort of story I made up about a frog and his lady friend. I THINK it went like this: Frog leaves lady friend. Frog comes back begging for mercy but lady friend declines offer. Lady friend bounces back to frog, and frog happily takes her. How I came up with this at that age, I have no idea.

3. My one actual somewhat realistic drawing of a frog. I think the art instructor was right behind me when I did this, and I was deathly afraid of her... so I just copied what was in the book in front of me instead of drawing my own kind of thing.

Thanks, Tung! You should post up some of your artwork from back in the day...

Poo, only Michelle and myself have posted drawings so far. Though, Mark's journal entries are way awesome. thumbsup.gif
