Okay, so I just finished Fallout 3, and I pretty much liked it, but now I'm looking for a new PC game to play. (I'm not gonna get one until I actually have a job, but hopefully that's happening soon.)
So what game should I play next? Or better question, what are some good new(ish) games that have come out, that I should check out? With college and all I haven't play games much in the past few years, so I'm kind of out of the loop. What do you guys recommend?
I feel like I should probably offer some guidance on what games I like or what type of game I'm looking for, but...I don't even know, really. I like most games, so any suggestions are welcome.
online mmorpg?
Don't play WoW unless you want to throw your life away
This game is probably popular for sucking, but the updates recently have owned, and the graphics are SCORES better than they were years ago (what people remember it for)

and then there's http://tinyurl.com/agsylc. It's impossible to hate Shaiya. The PVP is unbelievable.

http://Rappelz.gpotato.com was fun for about a year or so (maybe 2.. I didn't exactly count.... It was probably two though because I always guess too little). The game has very unique features that few/no games have except this one. It's a grindfest, though.
LEFT 4 DEAD.
If you like fast zombie shooting games.
Other than that i dont know any other PC game.
Is portal a mmo? is it a shooting game?
I actually ended up picking up two games: the SimCity Box, which includes SimCity 4, SimCity 4: Rush Hour, SimCity Societies, and SimCity Societies: Destinations; and the Half-Life 2 Orange Box.
SimCity 4 isn't as good as SimCity 3000, and SimCity Societies is kind of stupid. Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2 are awesome, though. I haven't played Portal yet.

Why don't you play cool games like Zork, Breakout, Super Breakout...photoshop...
Ey, photoshop aint a game, it's serious business.
I have to wait to get actual computer back before I play any computer games. I liked sim city 3000, I played 4 previously, I didn't think it was that bad. More interactive imo. I wanna try the new Civilization games, they're looking more cheesy nowadays, but last time I played one was the very first one, I think they've made around 5 new games since then.
I still play http://www.gaminghorror.net/runescape-classic-still-playable/
F.E.A.R.
or F.E.A.R. 2
I prefer you to get F.E.A.R.
muahahahahahaha*coughs*
You should pick up Dragon Age: Orgins.
I got the game last week. Definitely a lot to do, it's sorta a free-roam RPG, except there isn't a lot to roam. If you don't have a decent computer you'll be stuck at loading screens for more than a minute.
Ah Fallout was awesome!
Try oblivion? or portal?
I agree, simcity 3000 is way better than simcity 4 but wtf simcity 2000 wasn't near as good as 3000
Well, first of all, SimCity 3000 had annoying graphics issues -- namely, it can take f*cking forever to render buildings in a large city, so you get annoying blue cubes instead.
Also, SimCity 3000 cleaned up a few things (like laying power lines, that was a pain in SC2K) but also made the game much harder in an annoying way -- there's a lot more micromanagement that needs to be done. (SC4, on the other hand, swung too far the other way, and removed the need for most micro management.)
Also, I think a lot of the subtle humor of SC2K was lost in SC3K.
I like 2000 slightly better too.
Demon's Souls: one of the best dungeon crawlers ever made.
Border Lands: First person version of Diablo. Very fun co-op RPG. Gearbox made the game off the Halo engine.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2: I don't like many of the mainstream competitive FPS these days, but this game is great. Fighting in large, well-designed, destructive environments with so many weapons, vehicles, explosives, classes, and abilities to chose from will keep this game fresh for a long time to come.
You should Final Fantasy XIV when it comes out.
^Thanks
Earth Defense Force: I could completely understand why someone might hate this game. It's very simple and repetitive, but weren't some of the greatest titles ever simple and repetitive? Protect the world from the invasion of the ravangers by colecting armor to increase your mazimum life total, crazy weapons to blow #$%@ up, and health kits to stay alive. Destructable environments and obnoxious particle effects make this game a blast... literally. Also, grab a friend a co-operatively slay hordes of giant robots, UFOs, ants, walking lizards, and spiders with grenade launchers that shoot 30 grenades at once, fire like a shotgun, explode on impact, and have a 10 meter blast radius. This game is fun fun fun, and it's only for XB360.
Also you should all definitely play Lugaru HD.
Mipadi pray grame?
I've been playing New Vegas non stop for a few days. it's a really amazing game if you can get past the bugs. easily the best of the Fallout series.
the bugs aren't any worse than any other Gamebryo game, don't let the reviews throw you off.
A good friend of mine said the story line isn't nearly as good as say FO3
Just Cause 2: holds the record for being the largest environment in any game to date. It's not a good storyline, and I wish I could create a custom character, but the environments are huge. I don't feel as limited as I normally do in sandbox type games. I love exploring.
yeah jc2 is really good for a game with such a shitty story line
Mass Effect 2.
I'm enjoying Red Dead Redemption even though I usually hate old Western culture
Still feel more at home on the streets of San Andreas
Dead Space 2: This game is just pure awesome... except the Multi-player...
marvel vs capcom 3. major major major improvement. takes awhile to get used to new controls but then you'll be set and ready to pwn
rofl arent you like 14, mvc2 came out when you were 4, btw gameplay is slower, sorta dumbed down the mechanics, but its still about timing, everyone and their mother has either a sent or dante, dont see any major improvement except for maybe character balance, but its still obvious who the top tier niggas are
kevin u gay
look here you peanut looking mothaf*cka, you're take-in-every-game-and-worship-it-as-the-2nd-coming-of-jesus approach can lick my nuts, plz realize that depending on the comments made by the person, a specific point of reference is inferred, when I bash the shit outta something, obviously a high standard is held by me, so quit your little lady gaga look in the mirror and think im beautiful jerk fest
shut up ho
just got killzone3
actually want to sell my 360 to get a 3ds
don't bother with bulletstorm until it goes on sale. waste of $60. I finished the campaign in one sitting and the multiplayer lacks basic gamemodes like deathmatch
can i have your gears 3 beta code
Crysis 2 was really good. I'm not to fond of the multiplayer aspect, but that single player experience was incredible for a 360 game.
