any of you tried this shit?

i got addicted and had to break myself off of them because i don't have 3 bucks to blow on coffee drinks every day. shit is good though. it's more like dessert to me than anything but yeah. enough of that back to my regular coffee for a while.

I haven't tried this yet since I'm too lazy to go to the McDonald's off-campus. I might buy one sometime and see how it compares to the Starbucks Frappuccino since that's the only kind of frappe I've ever had. If it's that much better than Starbucks' drink, I'll probably switch over since it's cheaper than Starbucks.

I tried the mocha one once. Shit's pretty nasty. I definitely like the ones at Starbucks better.

ive tried the chocolate frap, it was not bad. its much cheaper than starbucks and if i had to choose, starbucks wouldnt be worth the extra few hkd or so.

i'm not sure but does mcdonald frap also have vanilla flavor?

Okay, never mind that.

QUOTE
Another difference between the Frappuccino and Frappé are their nutritional values, which in some cases are quite significant. For example, a small Mocha Frappé has 170 more calories, twice the saturated fat, contains trans fat and 20 grams more sugar than a small (Tall) Mocha Frappuccino.

I liked them a lot at first, plus I had a bunch of coupons (bogo's and whatnot) for their Frappes when they were first released. I've stopped because after maybe 5+ of them, I realized that they're way too sweet, so I prefer their McD's Iced Mochas over the Frappes. Damn wtf they have transfat?! I thought that shit got BANNED... ;[

Mocha is my favorite Frappuccino flavor at Starbucks. I still haven't bought a Frappe from McDonald's, but that's because I never go to fast-food places unless I'm with someone who wants fast food. I'm not sure if restaurants have to stop using trans fat entirely or just limit how much they put in their food, but either way, it will take a while for it to be phased out.

I tried that for the first time over the weekend and wasn't a huge fan. I don't know if the barista made it badly, but it was bit too thin/watery.

Must have been made poorly. The ones I've had have all been very creamy / sweet / awesome-like.

TAKE THAT BACK. hammer.gif

Just kidding. I love the taste of coffee, but I love fruit even more. It's just that I pretty much swear by the tall mocha Frappuccino whenever I'm at Starbucks.

The boyfriend had the mocha. I tried it, didn't think that it was nearly as good as the caramel.

I would LOVE one right now. I'm not sure about the caffeine, but it sure as hell gave me a quickie sugar high (I don't usually consume sugar).
