Maybe you need Stuffit, to unstuff or unzip the package?
Actually, that should have come preinstalled with your Mac; check first in your Applications or Utilities folder. If you don't find it, go here and download the free version. You should be all set after that. |

Are you talking about getting it off of a CD or the free online trial download? And like clg said, check to make sure you have the StuffIt Expander, which is what Macs use to unzip files. You can check for it in Finder >> Applications >> Utilities >> StuffIt Expander. But yeah, it should have already been pre-installed.

Nah, I doubt it's a stuffit issue.. Are you downloading a .exe file or does it have the .dmg extension? That's very important, because you can't run a Windows executable on a Mac (and all you smartasses who're gonna come in here all "well, technically, yes you can," stfu xD). So yeah, forgive me if this might seem a bit insulting, but are you downloading the version for the Mac? Cause if you're downloading the Mac version the file shouldn't have any problem at all mounting and installing.

okay, step by step:
1. double-click .dmg file 2. drag the Photoshop icon to your Applications folder 3. eject .dmg file 4. open Photoshop |

and you click save.
then it saves the file to where ever your default is (check your browser settings) and you go back to the post above yours and do steps 1 through 4. |

The same brushes should work on any computer as long as they are for the right version of Photoshop.

Thanks a lot it works. Now brushes for mac? Iono I'm kinda new to this and fonts? LOL thanks. like ersatz said, there are no specific brushes for Mac. CS3 will accept brushes made for older versions of Photoshop. there's a post for fonts here somewhere... the ones posted should work with your computer. you can also go here and download any fonts that have a Mac OS X label on them. after you download the font, you just need to double click it to install them into your Fontbook. |

You should use "The GIMP." That's what I use. It's the pawn.
