Anyone here like anime? I do. My first anime was Oh! My Goddess. Oh! My Goddess got me hooked when I first saw it. And my current favorite is Naruto.

The first anime I've ever seen was Dragon Ball. It was captivating then, but not anymore. Just felt kiddish.
My favorite anime is Serial Experiments Lain. Hands down the most confusing anime I've ever seen. I loved it because of that.

first was sailor moon then the list goes on and on (includes: Fushigi Yuugi, escaflowne, evangelion, please save my earth, ruroni kenshin, kamikaze kaitou jeanne... flame of recca, pet shop of horrors...)

Anime is a hobby. You choose to spend time. And about they money part. You can always download anime for free. There's alot of fans who sub anime and distribute them over the internet.

oooh have u downloaded all current eps of naruto??? i was downloadin like the 1st 10 but since i only got 56k, poor me neways ive downloaded 1st and 2nd with few minor problems here and there. then in the middle of the download of the 3rd one it didnt let my continue on coz of the torrent manager i was usin! i was so pissed i deleted the entire folder without watchin 1 and 2 eps
but back on the topic, i think the 1st animes ive seen were yu yu hakusho and flame of recca, im not sure though

my all time favorite...would be GUNDAM WING...`cause it`s the best man...haha..

anime nowadays aren`t as good as before, don`t you think..?

inuyasha is kinda cool to me..but i lost interest..last time i saw something inuyasha was the second movie..

rurouni kenshin lost touch in me `cause it made me cry..

**SPOILERS**

in the last OVA..he dies...so sad... ...

in the manga he doesn`t die but in the anime they think he deserved to die..(they had a good reason why..)

lately, i've been watching noir. really cool. but too bad, i don't have the third volume!! i wanna finish the rest!!!!!!
but still, i think that the best anime movie would be hotaru no haka (grave of the fireflies). recently, tokyo godfathers has been added to my top 10 list. hehehe...!

My first anime was My Neighbor Toroto...or Sailor Moon...I saw them around the same time. I have never really gotten into anime...cosplay sucks up all my money >.< Plus...I am kind of scared of anime otakus...

I like some but my favorites have to be CCS, Noir, .Hack//Sign, Samuri X, and Naruto.

doraemon when i was like 2 or 3.. i think my first book i've ever picked up to read myself was a manga... it's 1 of those big mangas filled with lotsa diff. mangas.. and the first 1 is always dbz.. but i didnt like it when i was 2.. and doraemon was always at the end.. so i loved it.. HEEHEEE..

n then ranma 1/2.. and then some manga about a video girl.. she was like a video game creation or something and became real life.. i totally can't remember.. thinking back, that 1 was VERY VERY pornographic!! it was soo not suitable for 2/3 year olds to read.. but then it was pretty!

then years of no anime.. :(

Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Since then I've seen a lot. Lol. I only saw one episode of NGE and was hooked, though. I've slowed down on my Anime/Manga love a bit, however. But it will always have a special place in my heart ^^ And I still watch it from time to time.

Hmm...Sailor Moon might have been my first, but the first one that I -loved- was still NGE (Which I'm pretty sure was the first one I saw).

sailor moon.......... it was funny, really. now everyone thinks that it's for babies or something......... at least, where i live. i didn't know it was an anime...... after that, i wasn't into anything until i read ranma 1/2. then i got hooked on manga. don't watch anime much anymore..........

I'm not sure if it was Dragonball or Sailor Moon...I don't know when Tank Police came out so it could've been that...

hahaha, I remember when I was in sixth grade and it was like the year after my brother moved back from Japan, him me and our little sister micheala were watching this sm movie and this guy cried in it and I was like, "what in the hell?" and I just remember my brother saying, "He's crying because he loves her!"

I'd have to say that it's between Hiyao Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service and Sailormoon. I remember watching Kiki's Delivery service sometime when I was about 5 years old or something? *shrugs* Dunno.. I remember watching it a long long time ago on Disney way way back when at my old old house.

I think I saw Megaman sometime later, afterwards...

SAILOR MOON Swear I was obssessed with that show ever since I was 6. Used to come home right after school, watch Bananas in Pajamas cause that was always on first, then watch Sailor moon. I don't really know anyone who grew up not watching Sailormoon. Even the boys did. Well they mostly watched Dragonball Z, but still. I was also a Dragonball Z freak too, even though I was a girl.

If Sailor Moon was still on I swear I'd still be watching it. Too bad they cut it off after Super S. I guess they just couldn't handle dudes turning into chicks and more nakedness. The whole cousin thing between Haruka and Michiru was kind of freaky though -- they're lesbians, duh!

I could still recall the first kind of anime I watched was Akazukin ChaCha back in the 4th grade premiered locally in Cartoon Network.

Then some of the more serious anime I watched was Gundamwing, Tenchi Muyo, Saber mattionettes( all in the local language which was Filipino).

I remember the first full length Anime movie I watched was Akira

That was still back when anime was still slightly obscure
most of the early ones where dubbed in the local language ( filipino)

I remember a few years later when we watched anime in the local networks
we get to watch such fares as Yu Yu kakusho ( under the name as Ghostfighter),
Lupin 3, Flame of Recca, DBZ

presently we have loads of channels with anime even a whole channel devoted to it.

The VERY first anime I ever saw was Ninja Scroll. I thought it was sooo friggin cool even though a lot of it was so graphic and I was only about 10 I think. After that ... Now, I think Full Metal Panic is my favorite followed by the Samurai Deeper Kyo anime and Gundam Wing.

Tonari No Totoro was my very first anime. Then it was either Dragonball or Kiki's Delivery Service. I still have to say that Tonari No Totoro is my favorite, but there are many other animes that i like.

...he was so amazing... lol!

Then basically I got hooked on the *OLD* Toonami shows like Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball, Outlaw Star, Big O, Tenshi Muyo, etc. I was a bit of an addict to anime and I still am now. HAHA! I wont even go into the enormous anime list I have now...I'll spare you that much.
