read it freshman year english. it was ok. it was good at representing stalin nd hitler (not really sure if it repped hitler cuz i dont really remember)

I didnt have to read it but i had to watch the movie for my 9th grade economics class.
Most f*cked up thing i have ever seen.

I didnt find it very hard. In my Honors English class we have a class discussion EVERY day for the entire class. Its interesting to hear different views on the book. Its filled with so much figurative language and symbolism, everyone had different perceptions on what they thought certain things meant.

If no one understood this story or the point it was trying to make, no matter what your 'political' levels of interest are, then seriously you need to wake upppppppp.

This book is an allegory to the Russian Revolution. And it's a brilliant depiction of human nature.
