My mom thinks I had sex with my current boyfriend. What the f**k. She thinks I'm some slut going around having sex I wish that she would understand that loving someone doesn't have to involve sex. But now my mom is asking me to check with a doctor if I had done it or not. Do I have a reason to be angry? I am so mad. I can't believe she thought I had done it. T_T I made a bet to her that if I am right I would get a new cell phone. My problem is the results. I never had sex but I had done other things. I saw no blood does that mean I am a virgin?

my mom (and dad) did the exact same thing - they're nuts, just fyi. it felt so good when the doctor was like.. "yeah she hasn't done anything." SHUT DOWN.

some people consider third base "de-virginizing" too, but ^ was just imo.

i'd just talk to your doctor... it's not like a broken hymen means you're not a virgin. i'm pretty sure i broke mine on accident before doing anything since i was a wild child like that. and if you're worried about stretching or something... to put it delicately, most girls do, hahah.

Your mom reminds me of my friend's mom who's a control freak who can't get it out of her head that teenagers do far worse than having boyfriends/having sex. I don't know what to tell you, but she'll never come out of her phase until you just give her a reality check.

hey my mom has been doing the same thing for a while now.... she thinks im having sex. sure i didnt start beign sexually active until almost a year, but she has ABSOLUTELY no proof or idea that i even do anything. im always either home or work. so i havent given her any reason to think im goign around having sex with every guy i meet. i told her shes a horirble mother for thinking im having sex with everyguy out there.

it doesnt matter if you are or arent, a mother shouldnt be like that with her daughter. idk, i thinkk its wrong.

not saying parents should think their kids a perfect angels, but dont say theyre sluts etc. thats wrong.

this kinda stuff really bothers me. maybe thats why i dont have a relationship with my mom. im sure that if she knew how to be a mother, as in me knowing that i could talk to her about anything without her judging me or yelling at me, we could have somewhat of a relationship. but thats never gonna happen.

i remember, right before i moved away from my parents, my mom wanted to put me on birth control, and i refused, because she was pretytmuch calling me a slut. i told her i wasnt gonna go on birth control that i wasnt having sex.

Hah, my mom threatens to go to my school and talk to my teachers about me not believing in her religion. (WTF, I know right?) She thinks I'm dating or having sex with every damn guy I talk to. I was hugging one of my friends during promotion and my dad drove him home because he had no ride home. After he got out of the car, my mom started yelling at me and accusing me of doing things other than hugging when she's not around. HE WAS FREAKING GAY! She said I was lying to her just to cover it up.

Yeah, sorry. I like to rant about my mom. We don't have a good relationship.

my mom and dad both were ok with finding out when i first became sexually active as long as i used protection and was in a relationship, not doing random girls who i didn't know anything about.

There is nothing you can do about that. When my parents found out I was sexually active my mom freaked out. She practically disowned me for months.
She came to terms with it and we went and got birth control.

I don't have faith that your mom will calm down. Deal with it until you can afford to move out.

With my parents, it hasn't come to that point yet and I hope they don't become like that. But I sympathize for you. Having parents like that, suspecting stuff that you didn't do, is crazy.

Breaking your hymen is very possible without having sex. Many athletes break it with constant stretching and it's very, very common for girls who ride horses to have a broken hymen. There's really no clear-cut way of telling whether a girl is a virgin or not.

Has your mom talked to your boyfriend? Perhaps he can persuade her? If she still insists on taking you to the doctor, make sure you ask the doctor about the other ways you can break your hymen.[/size][/font]

In addition to AskAlice's response, the hymen can also be stretched or broken by using tampons. A broken hymen doesn't always mean that a girl isn't a virgin.

The thing that really pisses me off about parents like yours is that they more than likely had sex as teenagers. If they grew up in the 70's or 80's that is almost assured. When I was in school a girl was only a called a slut if she was doing a bunch of guys (not all at the same time). If a guy was doing several girls he was called a man whore. Most everyone I knew as a teenager had sex by age 15 or 16 and it was no big deal. Parents need to quit freakin out and talk with their children about sex and build a trust relationship with them so that teens know that they could talk with them about anything.

I used to teach and had a couple of female students ask me what a blowjob was. I about crapped my pants at that point but kept my cool and explained that they really need to talk with their moms about that and that it wouldn't be right or ethical for me to tell them. They said their moms would freak and I said that they would probably feel elated that their teenager trusted them enough to actually talk to them about such things. The next day the girls came to me and told me that their moms were shocked, not cause of the subject that asked about but that they asked them. The reason I told them to ask their mom and not their dad is cause dads would immediately go on the warpath and kill every guy that came near their daughter.

Man, I have no clue what my mom would think of me if she found out I had done it. I havent though. We have never talked about sex because it would be unbelievably awkward. Its just not a topic of conversation for us. I dont even tell me my mom if I have a girlfriend or anything. I dont hide it, and if she knew she wouldnt get angry but I dont think she supports dating at my age, cause she thinks dating is only what people do when they are looking for a spouse. Which is what it is supposed to be but... I dont think she has realized that I am 14. Im a christian but the thought of not doing it before getting married freaks me out. I dont think the whole thing is about you being a virgin or not. My mom had a freak out like this once when i was younger, i started talking to her more and problem solved. Apparently she thought i might have been getting bad advice from other people even at church and school since they gave us condoms. I just talked to her and told her i probably wouldn't wait til i was married but i would until i was older and knew what was best for me. She wasn't happy with me sayin i wasn't waiting but she was happy i could have an adult conversation with her without freaking out or just lying to her. We started talking more and more she loved this.
