I think it's going to be stupid and boring. I usually never ever get scared by movies at all. It looks so stupid. A girl comes out of a world underneath a pool and they're not sure if she's saving them from a werewolf or not.
:erm: Just doesn't look like it would be that good to me. |

I really want to see it since I liked The Village and I want to see what new things M. Night Shymalan has come up with. Though, I've heard awful things about it. I hope I'm not disappointed.
It's not a thriller. Like The Village, it's being marketed as a horror film when it's not. A lot of people were disappointed in The Village because they were expecting to be scared when what they got was a love story. Seems like Shymalan likes Howard. |

Everytime I see that commercial with the stupid whispering voice, I become less interested. I agree. And they totally overuse it, too. The little kid keeps whispering to the last seconds of the trailer, when he's saying when the movie is opening and stuff. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was a spoof, but it turned out to be an actual scary movie...Yeah, so I'm not gonna watch it. |

I want to seeeeee this. I think i'm going Saturday w/ my friends. Yesssss.
I liked the Village, and I'll admit it, and I've liked most of Night's other movies. He's creative. And it's out of the norm, which is cool to meeeee. |

I'm going to see it today with my friend and this guy, I didn't really want to see it but my friend forced me too. I'm not the kinda horror flick person so I'll probably get nightmares after.
When I come back, I'll say if its good or not :D edit; nevermind my friend canceled it but i might go alone one day |

As much as you don't like Shyamalan's latest film(s), you have to give the guy credit for nearly creating his own sub-genre, sort of like Tarantino. That's quite hard to do these days.

The newspaper gave it an F.
While I don't rely on critics' opinions, it does not sound promising. Actually, though. I don't think I ever did see any of his movies.. |

Actually saw this today in theaters.
It really wasn't bad. However I thought that "The Village" wasn't bad either, so lol. There aren't any suprise twists or anything, but I mean the movie does really make you think, I like his meaning behind the movie. I still think he can't do the whole "Scary Monster" thing right. I mean he did a better job in "The Village" for that one. This movie wasn't even scary, just things happen at the right moments I guess. And I liked how he actually played a character in his own movie, it wasn't just a few random lines here or there, it actually was a pretty good part. He looked really young too haha. I just like how you think you have the movie figured out, but you really don't, and it's just interesting ya know. Acting was decent, the shots were pretty cool. And I laughed a lot in the movie to be honest, like this movie was a lot funnier then his previous ones. Though it was cheesy in some ways, like the whole "Scary Monster" thing, blah, if he actually didn't show what the monsters looked like, and kinda kept you guessing and it a mystery the entire time, the movie could of been so much better. Still, decent movie. B- or a C for the grade. Not bad at all. |

^ I agree. This was a decent movie.
The monter things had me jumping at first but once you saw what it was..you just kinda gave up on it. But it was a decent movie. It kept you thinking. Trying to figure out who's purpose is which and what. I think the kid reading cereal boxes...wtf?! + I think it's cool how he acts in his own movies. |
