I dont watch that many movies but I think that Twilight could have been a lot better. I understand how it was an "independent" film but it still lacked in a lot of ways. :/

Here's the thing, I get that it was low budget. I can forgive the lack of finesse in effects and such. However, independent or not, budget lacking or not does not and should not affect how actors are directed. Really, truly, I blame the director for most, if not all the suckage of Twilight.

but jasper had to look like he was pain. i get it, that he's not what we expected. but then again we all have different imaginations of our twilight characters! plus, if those characters were exactly what stephenie meyer was thinking, then we have really creative minds (;

Seriouussssslllyyyyyyy.

Jasper could have been a little more...eloquent with his feelings. And, well, I think she ruined Edward. sad.gif

Was anyone wanting Jasper to look constipated? I was thinking he would be cool, calm and semi-collected.

^ Don't forget that he's supposed to be one of the "newer" vegetarians. In New Moon, he nearly attacks Bella if it had not been for Edward so I guess they have to show SOME kind of struggle.

I know, Jane, but at the same time, Jasper affects mood and typically does so to a soothing effect. The canker sore expression doesn't really jibe.

Yes, I suppose I see where you're coming from. It sucks that we probably won't see any soothing side of Jasper until Eclipse...film wise, that is.

I know that he's new, but, he just looked...wrong. Like, I'm at a loss for words as to describe his..whateverness. And it does suck that we don't get to see him until Eclipse. sad.gif He's quite an interesting character.

She'd be fine.

Bleh, hit reply or submit whatever too quickly. lol

It never (unless I'm forgetting, which is totally possible) touches upon her actual age. I've always imagined Jane to be younger than what people typically envision her to be. She's more of a Claudia (from Interview with a Vampire) type, although older, early to mid teens maybe. I don't know, just how I've imagined her.

Yeaaaaaah. Read New Moon, Thomas. It was a good one. Ish. I'm rereading that way I can actually remember what this one is about.

And actually, that Ferland chick wouldn't be too bad. She was on this one sci-fi show I watch and she was quite a talented little booger.

I just think Dakota Fanning is a wee bit overrated. But that's just me. *shrug* That and I was picture someone semi-older. Bah. I need to finish rereading it.

She would look better playing Jane, IMO.

She hasn't acted in any movies besides HSM, right? She needs to gain more acting experience before tackling Leah's role. Then again, Leah doesn't play a huge role in New Moon like she does in Breaking Dawn, so maybe she could do it after all. But I'd still rather have someone else.

Awesome. Why don't they cast Clay Aiken as one of the Volturi while they're at it.

If it's true that Vanessa may play Leah's role, I feel like she's only being considered because of her ethnic look: dark hair and eyes, olive-toned skin. That's just silly; there are plenty of other American Indian-looking girls with more talent who deserve the role.

I think the HSM franchise has made her pretty famous.

What about that girl who acted with Colin Farrell in The New World? She has the right look. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0452963/
