i can't believe i actually got to see this through. i've been screaming obama during the primaries when i couldn't vote & today i got to vote for him. :) it makes me so happy that i participated in this historical election. OBAMA!!!!!!

Military funding is being cut because, as it stands, the military is spending money when it is not needed. Despite Iraq having over 70 billion dollars to spend on their military and police forces, America continues to coddle them. The 'war' in Iraq is a non-kinetic, political dispute and there isn't much of a need for our presence in the same capacity as OIF 1-5. By cutting military funding/spending (specifically in Iraq), and following through with General Petreus' troop-cut plan, then we can focus on Afghanistan.
