Hells nah. Shoes make or break an outfit, as hair makes or breaks a face.

However, not everyone is on it like that. But even if you're rocking a pair of Chucks, Pumas or some dock-siders, be clean with it.

But aren't rugged old looking chucks sorta stylish? (Depending on the way you dress of course)

Agreed as long as they're clean and match your outfit, and look decent.

Real talk; I take it for granted. Yea, I bought a couple paris of the Barkley AF1s before Christmas, threw out the Beijing and Berlin AF1s because they got a crease. I'm all about quality. But I'm thinking about buying and shipping them back.

I don't know if you do this, but a sneaker head that brought me in the game taught me a trick. One day I had a nice pair of bapes and he said, if you don't want to crease them, then you will double sole them. That trick definitely does work.

Damn, I feel stupid for not ever considering that. Much appreciation on the advice.

I'll still rock Bapes from time to time, but the colors are generally too loud for my taste. I like a lot of brown, tan, beige, olive green, burnt orange, etc. Its just a pain in the ass to buy them in my size.

There's one in Taipei. They're normally hidden away in some of the bigger capitals and fashionably cognizant cities on the globe. Unless you buy from a retailer online or on the low, WHO ACTUALLY SELLS AUTHENTIC GEAR, its really difficult to get a hold of.

Sneakerheads in Japan are on a different level altogether. A lot of these exclusive kicks are readily available at most of the sneaker stores around here. Most Japanese kids will have a pair of kicks like the Stussy AF1s and just wear the shit out of them like its nothing. But the cats that stay fresh, are really, really, fresh.

I'm on the subtropical island of Okinawa. This place is like the Hawaii of Japan.

Sucks, don't it? blink.gif

The stores aren't marked, and they're in the cut. If you walk by the one in Roppongi (Tokyo), you wouldn't think anything of it unless it were nighttime and the weird yellow glow and wild color kicks on the display catch your eye through the fishtank window. Its an ill boutique, to say the least. I love my Af1's and SB Dunks, but I do like BAPE. I personally think its so fly if a female is up on her shoe game.
