I have had that problem too. People that ride the bus need to be aware of their odor. These are the times when a gas mask comes in handy. I mean are they not aware of their sickening stench.....I guess not. Again it's just pure laziness when someone can't bathe. Actually it's not because they can't, they just don't want to. Also to a certain level it is very disrespectful. I mean what is so hard about using a bar of soap and water. Rocket science it isn't that's for sure. I don't even believe that because a person is big they can't bathe or shower. I am not small and I make sure I am not stinky when I go out in public.

on halloween i was on a bus shuttle and this old man of exceptional size sat next to me. as soon as he sat down i could tell he was drunk. he kept mumbling to himself and he reeked of alcohol and urine.

needless to say, after i got off the bus i drowned myself in body spray.

and like everyone else here, i also cannot stand B.O. fumes.

i also want to mention girls' locker rooms. there's this thing about locker rooms where the smell just...literally sticks to you until the end of the day. it's so freaking disgusting. i'm so glad i don't have to take phys. ed classes anymore.

I feel bad for you on that bus. I would be praying to the porcalain God as soon as I got off if I had to sit next to him. One year I sat next to an older woman who was very large and she also reeked of urine. I wished I could have had a bad sinus cold that day but no such luck. Again these people are just plain lazy and have no respect for others whatsoever. BLECH!!!!!!

Believe it or not some people are just too lazy to perform one of the most simplest tasks. I have heard of people who are afraid of water as in going in swimming pools and lakes which is pretty acceptable but in a shower or bath where the water isn't even a foot deep.............now come on that is a bit ridiculous. Okay it is more than a little it is extremely ridiculous. But if they wanna drive people away this is the perfect and very sad way for them to be.

I have issues with strong smells. I do not get along with people who emit vomit-inducing odors, but on the other hand, I can't stand the artificial smells that girls like to marinate in that smell of a combination of peppermint candy cane, puffy peaches, and some sort of extraction from a woodland creature.

One of my teachers smells REAL bad. He smells cigarettes. Sure, i smoke but i ALWAYS take perfum/mouth spray with me, or even chewing gum. Sometimes i feel like puking. I am NOT a bad friend or something, but one of my friends smells, really bad, like erm dead rat. I told her, she said that she doesn't have time to wash her clothes and stuff, my dutch teacher even told her that she smells and that all her teachers know about her body odour. She's still my friend though, but i'm not kidding, *shivers*

Anyways, does anyone close to you (friends/family bla) smell? I mean why oh why can't they wash their clothes????? sick.gif

Haha. Priceless. Well, my child. What you must do is confront. Smells can be offensive. Offensive smells, natural bodily secretions of odorous fumes, must adhere to the body and not your sensitive nose. As this is much like other sensitory offenses, such as swearing, We need to congest it to it's source and present the confabulation to the teacher, and as relavent to this situation- your friend, and find a middle ground, where both hosts are content with the destined outcome.

That is the solution for your troubles.

Actually, I'm sorry. I really feel sorry for you, because I, too, have felt the auroma of frictioned skin of teachers and instructors who have sworn by their values and morals to regularly maintain the hygiene of the human abstract. My condolences.

I think fat people smell terrible! It's like they're too lazy to carry their asses into the shower before going out. Most all of them smell like cow ass or something.. it's creepy.

I have issues with strong smells as well. I can't stand to be around boys who wear over bearing colognes. Them as well as smokers, people who have just gotten sick or passed gas, or people who have seriously bad b.o. ITs disgusting and I know sometimes they can't control it but I just can't be around them.

I have this kid in my class and he smells horrible. It was gross, cause one day in P.E. it was hot out and he was sitting on the stage when there were about 30 flies around him and I'm not kidding. Then he got up and flies just swarmed at where he sat...it was nasty.

Also, our computer tech guy is like 60 something and he smokes alot and he smells like an ash tray..

Not all fat people do smell. I am not obese but Im not thin either and I shower as often as possible. But I wont disagree that there are fat people out there who dont shower and should. They say they are just too big.....well those are just excuses. I think that was so in my teachers case. She was was just gross!
