That would explain things. What happens when you get a disgruntled member(s) who decides to rate everything a 1 regardless of whether or not it actually deserves that? What if it's a completely valid topic that just has an unpopular theme to it? What happens if it's voted low just because people don't like that person? Too many flaws for this rating system. It's shit. Leave it up to the discretion of staff, who seems to have a decent ability to judge a topic. Oh also the staff that judge should be decided, not people who have sticks up their asses and have no sense of humor. Drama and humor bring popularity and popularity brings activity. Everyone likes activity.

Well, the whole idea behind it is to rate the topics of people we don't like--Liana, nguokdjb, etc--so we can have an excuse to move it to a trash topic.
