i like abercrombie.. their clothes smell amazing throb.gif
but their jeans are so expensive. i mean.. regular abercrombie jeans are 40 dollars..
but if they just destroy/rip it it's going to cost 60 dollars? wtf?

I love the smell of abercrombie. I think it's the boys' cologne that they spray? I'm so tempted to buy it every time I'm at the register.

I don't really understand why destroyed jeans are more expensive than regular ones. Go figure.

I've only bought one pair of jeans from there at regular price. The other pairs, I've gotten them on sale for $30 and only $20. SWEET. And abercrombie has really good sales so that's what I buy most of the time. I try not to buy the regularly priced stuff but sometimes I cave and do.

(Just the other day I was in the store and I wanted these capris but they were destroyed and they were $50 and I was like, "No way am I spending $50 on a pair of capris when I'm getting these 3 pairs of jeans for just $60." So then I looked online and the capris were marked down to $30. Score.)

And the whole thing with not wanting to wear the same thing as other people? There's 300 million or so people in the US... you're bound to be wearing the same thing as SOMEONE so who really cares?

i dont like abercrombie and hollister because well.. they are expensive and not to mention i cant find anything that will fit me without making me look like a sausage. I'm ok with AE cause it's not as dark as those two and their clearence rack is relativily cheap. =D

I love abercrombie. I don't think their clothes are that expensive. I mean, $200's for three polos. Thats exaggerating a bit. If they sold three shirts for $200, that means each of the shirts cost over $60, and that not true at all. Their jeans are like fifty, and their polos are around 25-30

word.

the stores have a gloomy environment.
the largest size still fits like a small.
expensive shirts that just say "abercrombie".

i can make that myself. eh.

i'll stop hating now. pac sun clothes are expensive too i guess, but i i still buy mine from there. my bad.

I like abercrombie...but I walked in to get a pair of plaid shorts and they were about $38.
And I was like, No way am I spending 40 freaking dollars for a pair of shorts. XD
They were half the abercrombie price in wet seal.
I like american eagle a lot. Hollister's okay.

abercrombie is too pretentious and too expensive. hollister is is somewhat pretentious but also expensive. american eagle is a little pricey, but far more relaxed. aeropostale is cheap and cute, i'm actually wearing a dress from there right now.

but, this is only for me. there are people who are/have parents that are willing to spend a little more money and don't need to worry about pretentious stores, but i do. my parent's are stingy, and being only 14, i can't and won't save up to buy a couple of abercrombie/hollister things when i can get about 18 more things at forever 21. but i will admit, every store named has verrry good quality.

oh my, i typed quite a lot. pinch.gif

When you shop at those stores, it's not for quality its for the label. If you're willing to shell out the extra cash to wear the label, go ahead. I just buy what looks good on me thumbsup.gif, be it expensive or not (as long as the price isn't too outrageous).

Yup. Essentially that's all it is. Wearing a label, so that you can "fit in". I'm guilty of that as well, but there's this beautiful phenomenon called

!!!

I get all my brand name stuff from there. cool.gif

Abercrombie knit: 29.50
Plato's: 10.00

(I'm wearing it in my signature pic)

Abercrombie jeans: 59.50
Plato's: 16.00

American Eagle jeans: 49.50
Plato's: 10.00

Hollister tee: 19.50
Plato's: 6.00

Converse shoes: 39.99
Plato's: 8.00

Aerpostale tee: 18.50
Plato's: 3.00

Yup, from personal experience. And during summer, winter clothes are ridiculously low and vice versa. Plato's is a blessing. The only problem is the clothes are sometimes:
- used
- shrunken in the wash
- worn and torn

But other than that, you get the same exact perks of wearing brand name clothing with only a fraction of the price!! I'm seriously at Plato's all the time. :D

Ahhah. I should get paid for advertising Plato's.

^ Plato's Closet? We have those around here, and I thought they were just a local chain. Where are you from? I've gotten some stuff there. Not bad.

I wear a lot of Hollister & Abercrombie stuff, but I'll only buy it when it's on sale. There's no way I'm spending $60+ on one shirt, unless it something else like Bebe or somewhere. I'm starting to like American Eagle a lot more... they're a lot cheaper, too.

I live in Houston, Texas. Plato's is all over America, I thought. blink.gif
