This just started this morning, but I downloaded the kSolo.com recording add-on for Firefox, and ever since then, I'm getting this nasty, ringing feedback from my microphone when I turn the volume up or touch the speaker/microphone with my finger.
I'm using a laptop, so the mic is built-in. I un-installed the add-on, but it's still making the noises. I don't know what to do. I can't turn the volume up without hearing the feedback ringing and ringing.  I searched in the "Help & Support" section of Windows XP, but found no option to turn the mic off or turn the volume down. Anybody have any suggestions? |
