I give the worst advice ever. Totally serious. I've tried to give good advice, but I always look back on it and be like "Kaycee, you really should've shut up." I am much, much, much better at letting people talk at me about their relationship problems. It's not only because I'm pretty unexperienced in that arena, but I always end up thinking "Well...this isn't true for everyone so...." and then the advice comes out all sucky and stuff.
Worst thing? It makes me feel like a terrible friend. Because I think the ability to give advice is one of the qualities that people really look for in a friend, but c'mon, what about us people who like to just sit there and tell them everything's going to be okay? |

^ Same. I am wayy too bitter.
Except, I do believe that a LOT of those "problems" could be solved with a simple thing: COMMUNICATION! Oh yes. Communication. Such a lovely thing. |

Honestly.
The best advice to give in the relationship forum is to be practical. ( Be a cock. ) Everyone in that part of the forum ranges from 11-15 age wise, so who cares. |

I try my best to give my advice from the heart. My advice is paid no mind to anyway.

That whole communication bit is so true.
I'm not so great at advice myself, unless it's something I really relate to. Usually, I listen to my friends problems and whatnot but when it comes to advice...its tough. |

I think my advices are usually too realistic and not what they really want to hear.. And sometimes its just wrong.

I try my best to give my advice from the heart. My advice is paid no mind to anyway. ![]() I actually think you give very good advice. The key to giving good advice is: Honesty and a balance of being realistic and optimistic depending on what your talking about. I'm a great listener and talker but overall i'm excellent at listening and picking up on stuff very quickly, also to back this up i've been told by many people i'm great at giving advice. But you know, in the end of the day, you can only give advice either based on experience or imagining what should or could be done. Oh and Hakuna Matata, trust me, I appreciate people as well who just sit there supporting and telling you that everything is going to be ok. As long as someone takes the time to listen and help out then that is all that matters to me. Friendship isn't judged on how good you can give advice. It's all about being there through the good and bad times. |

Yeah, I give out the worst advice ever. When someone has a problem, I usually don't know how to help them.

![]() ![]() Yeah, fortuanately I think there are some standard pieces of advice that you can give at anytime, including the communication thing. Geez Suzzette: "I'm not interested." ![]() |

I`m totally like this too. I tend to steer clear of the Relationship forum. But then, people say I give good advice. I tend to think the opposite.
