^Honesty, I only liked the first story of that drama because Xiao Yian Zi was really playful and Zi Wei is more intellectual and sentimental, so that means the characters match the actresses well.

The other series are LAME and BORING, even though the cast is MOSTLY the same, but the story itself sucks.

I used to watch Huan Ju Ge Ge when I was younger. I only liked the first season. The rest were kinda ehh.. Kekeke. *busts out huan ju ge ge soundtrack*

ah, yea, id have to agree. i watched the first season on tv in taiwan in like..1996 and we bought the second season on vcd.

but, i heard that their third season..was crap because they changed the characters. well, all of them besides for zi wei's hubby and the old empress' "servant."


what a waste..
i would have actually watched it if the original character stayed..

hm, and i always thought that zi wei's "servant/best friend" looked like a doll. shes so adorable and cute. well, not in that picture.

see? her facial structure! it reminds me of an anime character.



hehe, they were cute together.

does anyone know what xiao yian zi's real name is? i think it starts with a j?

I never thought Barbie Xu was extremely pretty- but she's not ugly. She's pretty talented, though...and that's what should matter anyway.

Huan Zu Ge Ge is classic. Pure classic- I watched that back when I was in like, elementary school. I only liked Huan Zu Ge Ge 1, it was amazing....#2 with Leo Ku just didn't work.

Zi Wei is acted by Ruby Lin- I always thought she was gorgeous.
Xiao Yen Zi is acted by Vicky Zhao.
Both are extremely famous in China/Taiwan.

I think Ruby Lin is gorgeous too, and Vicky Zhao is good at acting but that "flag dress" incident causes her career to go downhill.

I only like Barbie Xu in Meteor Garden (the first season ONLY), and I don't think I really like other stuff that she did.

Yeah, I guess that's true. Her career hasn't exactly gone up, but she's doing alright. She's got some work coming up soon.

I really loved Barbie in MARS. Perhaps I'll watch that other drama with her and Xiao Zhu (I think?)
