I honestly can't tell the difference. I have a friend who I thought was Filipino but she's actually Vietnamese, so you can't really TELL if someone is a race. Well at least I can't.

^ Not all Asian people have accents.. Some, like me, have American accents. XD.gif

But usually you can tell by the eyes, hair, and skin color.

me too... my friend has a heavy chinese accent. but me no.

with the language and writing i can't tell either. but usually if you are one nationality, you can usually tell who are the same nationality as you are and those who are not.

Ehm, somewhat I suppose. ^I didn't do to bad on that test. I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing for the first few people, but thats okay.

I don't really bother to see what kind they are to be honest.

Sometimes it's easier to tell but then sometimes i don't know (and i'm usually wrong if i guess) until that person tells me.

I don't think it has anything to do with being of the actual race. If your environment is with asians, you'll start distinguishing between them. blahblahblah.

I can tell between asians and its languages. I still can't tell who the hell is who during a movie though: white, black, or asian. meh.

Usually I can tell between different Asian nationalities and their language. Can't really tell between Thai/Malay/etc. Just Chinese/Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese.

OK WTF this advertisement is a girl on a cam and WHAAA.
back to topic...
Rarely I can, like some I can tell right off the back with maybe their skin color or language. But so many Americans can't, and it bugs me, they think EVERY SINGLE ASIAN they see, are CHINESE automatically..I'm like.. UHm no, wtf is your problem, then they blab about making fun of my race...and yah.

^yeah. are white people like stupid? of course asians can't tell what nationalities whites are, "italians? polish? swedish?" etc .. it's hard. so we just group them together as "whites" like what everyone calls them .. but we're ASIANS .. yes .. there's chinese, jap, korean, viet, filipino, thai, ALL EFFING kinds .. so why do they have to group us together a "CHINESE" .. can't they just say "asian" instead of "chinese" ??? god damn. how would they feel if i went up to every white person saying they were german? when there's all kinds of european nationalities? exactly consider our feelings too u bunch of crackers

well thats the General American Perspective , but , some white people who are open and are more can really tell the differences . there just not used too seeing or experiencing and living in a specific environment where they see asian culture and asian value. in example i can tell the difference between wendys fries and mcdonalds fries . but i can`t tell the difference between different indian spices that curry is made of . because im not used too eating it . so you really don`t have to get pissed . and if you want too its up too you .

and when you were explaining how we can`t distinguish and classify white people . i can . open your senses a little . well jewish or italian but , sometimes the upper euro countries is pretty hard . just find there " swagger the sway" .
