20,000 calories a day? if he can't get up... how the heck can he eat so much?
they say that he has an assistant and that she bathes him (it is a she) and does the bedpan thing and... wow... and gives him food... but couldn't she limit his calories? before i heard that he lost 400 pounds and then he gained it back again... a lotta water weight |

I just don't get how they can keep GIVING him all that.
It's not like he can get up and make his own food.. All his nurse has to do is give him one less hamburger, bag of chips, coke, and he already is saving 400 calories without even noticing it. It's like continuously feeding a crackhead more crack and asking why the heck he got to be a fricken crackhead. |

I mean doesn't he not feel bad about himself? He said that he can't get up to use the bathroom and his nurse has to help him. (That is gross.) And he can't bathe himself, which I feel so bad for the nurse now. Or maybe he just keeps gaining weight because he likes the attention. |

That is pathetic; why would anyone let this happen to themselves or someone they give a shit about? Granted, it's late and I'm cranky & sleepy, but still. It's an interesting new way of getting into the spotlight, what can I say. The concept of someone willing to do anything to his body in order to catch the attention of the public eye is not new, otherwise Mr. Universe competitions wouldn't exist, for example. However this guy has opened a whole new level of abnormality in that sense.

I saw a tv special on him on TLC. It was on a couple weeks ago. My mom kept asking me to change the channel. He had a pretty sad story. I felt bad, and astonished. :[ The show was like mesmorizing; I didn't want to change the channel.

I saw this guy on TLC.
It's just unbelievable. It really makes me wonder why this guy didn't stop somewhere in the middle and go, "Wow, I'm really unhealthy. I gotta stop and start working out." But I don't know his whole story, so I can't really say much. I hope he's lost weight now. |
