Well then we need to set it up on a good day that a lot of people can be there, I know the holidays are coming up so I guess we need to do it soon, but not to soon, perhaps when everyone is starting to get out for school?

we'll also have to come up with a special time because, like winnie, she lives on the other side of the world. mellow.gif

^If it's a 3-day thing, then people would show little by little.

I say we make it around December 15-20 or something; most kids would be out by then, and around 6:00 Pacific time, which would be 9:00 eastern time. It would be a good time, since nobody's eating dinner or asleep. Maybe a little earlier or later, I dunno. Just a suggestion :]

Okay, well I don't think we should make it for 5 days, maybe over a weekend or something or right before new years when people are starting to come back home from Christmas vacation.

no one goes back to school til Jan 2nd.

Time wise, yes its a little hard but having it at like 6 pacific time and then 9 eastern time sounds like good times, most people stay on pretty late anyway.

Also I suppose were making a topic to comfirm dates and such that you'll be taking or asking someone to the winterball? or does no one really like this idea.

^ that's actually a really good idea. I'm thinking Dec 29-30? That way, it's in between the holidays, so everybody would be out of school & stuff.

What a cute idea! I wasn't around much last year, so this'll be interesting to attend.

And I think the 29th or 30th sounds a lot better for people's schedules, since people all over will definitely be on winter break.

^ Dec 29-30 would be a good time.

But 6pm pacific time is 6am here on the china coast time... well, I guess I'll have to try if I'm going... sad.gif

By the way, if there would be a chat, is it going to be on AIM?
I don't have/use AIM really...

We could look up for a private teen chat room. I used to do that all the time with my schoolfriends when we didn't have AIM. I forgot what the site was called, but it was free & you didn't have to sign up for anything to create a room with the username and password of your choice. The people entering would have to know the username & password to get in.

^ Sounds great! Try and find that for us. In the mean time, we'll probably use AIM. Anyone can always just download it and delete it later. Or you could download an All-in-one messenger like Trillian that combines AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and all those into one. happy.gif

Another one already? Are we calling it the Yule Ball again? I was supposed to go with teesa last year, but we both ended up not going.

I don't know, I guess looking at the pace of cB at the moment, I'd say no.

Well, I think AIM is going to be the messenger of choice for the Winterball.

^So then therefore it would be a problem, because you can't exactly be on msn and somehow be on aim too if you don't even have it.

Its not really hard at all to just download aim, its extremely simple, and its only for a night.
