yeah, Danielle did look a bit like a man in the finale when they were announcing the winner.
 Did anyone notice that when Jade was eliminated, she didn't do the usual hugging with the other girls? I find it somewhat amusing... |

I'm glad Danielle won. I loved her personality from the beginning. Even though Joanie's pictures were stronger, I would prefer Danielle's runway walk rather then joanie. Danielle reminded me of Nicole in the finale with the long wavy hair kind of thing?
Jade's covergirl picture was so ugly I wanted to puke.

I'm so glad Danielle won. Joanie was okay but I thought Danielle had a much better personality. And for the record I think her accent is COOL. :)

Both Danielle and Joanie had great personalities. Joanie, during the middle of the cycle, especially, was really outgoing. Seemed like someone I would be friends with. Same with Danielle. I thought Joanie was stronger in her pictures, way more versatile and more marketable than Danielle. She should've won. |

Actually, I think both Joanie AND Danielle only had one look. But Joanie's personality and pictures were the ones I liked better. I really wish she won.
Then again, if you really think about it, none of these girls really LOOK like a runway model. I mean, if you compare them to Daria Werbowy, or Vlada, or Sasha, or Natalia Vodianova, actually NONE of the winners of ANTM really fit the profile for a model. |

Hm, I don't think that's a really fair comparison. All the models you've named kinda fit the past fad of strong-featured Nordic type

Well, but they walk for all the "best" designers. Or you could take in the whole "elfin" troupe of models, such as Heather Marks, Jessica Stam, Gemma Ward. But I just don't see any of the ability to become a true top model shining through, other than yes Yoanna and Elyse.

On the contrary. I can see Joanie on the runway along the ranks of the aforementioned models. I think she looks like an American version of Caroline Trentini. Maybe not the next Daria Werbowy or Julia Stegner, but she'd fit into a nice Flavia or Anne V.
I can see Joanie on there better than Yoanna. Elyse fits also. Oh! Oh! And Kahlen? Kahlen was a younger, less severe carbon copy of Carmen Kass. Loved her. |

eh maybe it's just me but I did not like Joanie's runway walk. Before I thought Joanie would of made a great runway model but when it came down to the final challenge she didn't do as well as I expected.

when does cycle 7 start? so freakin excited, but i hope this cycle will get better, ive been kinda disappointed, especially wit the final runway showdown, its been anticlimatic but nontheless still love the show
my favorite runway was the one with kahleen and naima. that was freakin hott |
