MEH
.SMELLY
.SUPER CROWDED
.FULL OF FRESHMEN WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO WALK CONTINUOUSLY
.FULL OF PEOPLE WHO STOP RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALL AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE
.WITH PEOPLE WHO DONT ALWAYS SMELL GOOD
.VERY WET AND SLIPPERY WHEN IT RAINS
.&& ALSO CAKED IN MUD.
.OH;;
.IF YOU HAVE A BOTTOM LOCKER IN MY SCHOOL AND YOU ARE TRYING TO GET IN IT WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN THE HALL YOU WILL GET TRAMPLED.

so basically my hallways at my school suck. its like the part of the day i hate the most when i have to go through them.

pfft some of you have cool schools (the 10 story one) but mine is like really congested. the school is nice, sorta its like been a construction zone though for the past year but you get used to it. its so funny though sometimes at intersections there is like so much friction from 10 million people trying to go different ways at the same time its like a big bottle of pressure and the lid pops and you're out of the intersection. lol

i'm in a junior high, and our lockers are 1 per person, but they're half sized and maroon colored lol. lots of people (jerks usually) always block the hall and never move. some couples make out right in front of you... sometimes guys will start mini fights and i get pushed a lot stubborn.gif

My school's hallways are loud and cramped during passing periods. It's hard to get to your lockers sometimes. People are screaming across the hallways and singing and cussing, it's crazy. Our hallways are nothing fancy. Just blue lockers and classrooms.

SLOW people walking

Asian people that don't speak english bumping into everyone, and only saying "ouch" rolleyes.gif

U have ur spanish groups. Columbians, Dominicans. All kissing, smoch here.... smoch
there. If they know u they still want to smoch... doesn't matter if ur spanish or not

U got the hard asses getting cussed out by sercurity guards, or cussing at sercurity guards.

um... and ur couples, ur close friends, ur teachers and their rolley polley suit cases.

This is a view of my school hallway.

My school hallways are pretty damned big, but they're still amazingly crowded.

QUOTE(Statues/Shadows @ Apr 7 2006, 10:23 PM) *
Our lockers..really aren't like those in tv shows. We only have 5 minutes between classes, so depending on where your locker is, it can be hard to get there more than once a day (I don't actually keep anything in my locker most of the time because it's so out of the way I can only get there once a day, and that doesn't do me much good, so I wind up carrying everything around or hiding books in the band room). Some people have mirrors, but not all that many because it's just not that helpful, especially if you have a bottom locker (which is another unfortunate point, that we have half lockers you can't fit all that much in, and if you get a bottom one, you're pretty much skrewed). However, my main point is that it's not at all a social thing like they're made out to be. The halls are far from quiet, but there's a good deal more people moving than not. Defintely better than middle school, though, because then they were tiny and inside our homerooms.

^And that is my school.

There are ups & downs to having crowded school hallways.

PROS:
1. You get to see your friends that aren't in your classes.
2. You have SOME reason for being late to class.
3. Other social reasons.

CONS:
1. There are those damn couples that walk soooo damn slow in front of you, making you wicked late to class.. & at the same time making you feel like shit when you have nobody to walk with.
2. You see people you don't like at the same time.
3. That may include your ex-boyfriend.. or a boy you have a huge crush on.

But wow! You guys get like 5-10 minutes between classes. We only get 3, & some kids have to go from the first to the third floor. In fact we aren't even allowed to go to our lockers between class unless we have PE or lunch. We do anyways rolleyes.gif

all girl school; so yeah. everyone`s out there at the same time. either they`re at their lockers with their mirrors or the freshman are just standing right in the middle thinking that they own the whole damn school.

well.. the halls in general are what you said

My hall was different though known as the party hall ( music hall) everyone would never leave that where people would go to miss their classes because it;s the art hall no one would notice and when it came to change classes even more crowded gah... it took forever to get to my locker than there always garbage. the other halls no one goes to their locker/hall there always empty.

horrible. 5 minutes break to get to class. but we had seventeen hundred this year. so they extended it to 6 minutes. yet you can still be late if you don't pack your stuff quickly and stopped to talk to people. that is, if you get stuck in the biggest traffic jam at the T intersection at my school. the school is quite small than the average high schools (+ it's over 50 years old. only 10 years ago, it was a farmland. then it turned into a town and even more urbanized now 'cause of the rich people) and shouldn't be able to hold that many students (32+ students in each class! stupid ib program and the fact that the school has a really high reputation). so that means if you were to get to another class by passing the intersection, you had to run outdoors, cut through the parking lot and some of the field in the back. not fun in the winter when it's slippery and a car can come by or you would fall and nobody would know. or simply getting kidnapped. but thank goodness at times like those, people were around and it wasn't during the winter.

VERY crowded. Our school has over 3000 students and staff, its over the capacity already and the school is only 3 years old. Anyway, the hallways like I said before are crowded, and all the stupid people stand in the middle of hallway talking to their friends during passing period doesnt help. I usually see a couple making out in the corner. Someone's ass is usually grabbed, a fight breaks ever so often. Just a typical highschool... _dry.gif

there's only 2 hallways and they're not too crowded. except after 5th period there is usually a jam. they're really small too. there's lockers on one wall and the other wall has doors to classrooms. and where the 2 halls join there's a bathroom. nothing exciting.

UGH; the hallways are always crowded especially this bridge connecting the old building to the new building! Whoever built the bridge was bobo, seriously... it's pretty because it's just made out of glass where you can see outside but it's so small and people end up bumping into everyone. The lockers, I think, is better. The lockers at my school are really tall and wide so it isn't much of a hassle.
