Same here. Most of my friends do.. And they're like, "It's so ignorant." Then still use it. :| Alot of my friends use it too. And I hate it when someone uses it in reference to me. When they be like "aye what's good my nigg" That sh*t pisses me off to the tenth power I have a name and we don't reside in the 1800's so they can use it |

Did you know, white people aren't called Crackers, because they are white like a saltine? The term actually origonated from the fact that white men used to carry whips, and it made the horrible "crack" sound when it hit someone. Why would you want to use that word? ^ Yeah, we learned that in our english class. We always have discussions about race relations and such in that class, and we learn a lot from it. If only I could fit the entire world into my english classroom, and listen to the discussions we have, then maybe people would change their views on the world and their minds on how to treat others. ![]() |

An hour and a half to all of the three hours is spent disscussing and debating. I love the class so much for that. It ticks me off how ignorant people can be. |

But a few weeks back my friends and I went on a roadtrip, and we drove through VA, NC and FL. And these dudes had confederation flags on buildings. I was shocked as hell. |

It'd be people coming together, in an odd way. |

They don't seem to really have a problem with it though.
Like I said I spent about a week there. And when I got to Maryland on the I-95, I saw for the very first time...CONFEDERATE FLAGS, flying in the air and sh*t. I mean i've always seen it on TV, but I've never really saw a flag in person. Anyways, My boy got called a NIGGER at work 2 days in a row, by white people, and he kinda shrugged it off. My question to SOUTHERNERS, would be; How do you live around these things every day without either filing a complaint to your City Hall or petitioning for sh*t like that to be removed. Is it that NORMAL for you watch confederate flags blow in the wind, and be called racial slurs, without even caring? I mean maybe it's cause im from NY and I'm not used to sh*t like that, but I'd stomp that person out, and I couldnt live around CONFEDERATE FLAGS blowing in the southern winds all day. SO please southerners....explain to me like Im a 4 year old. AYE how come. The word sh*t gets censored out but Nigger doesn't? |

![]() In a lot of places, rascism is considered normal I guess. Like, for most of my life, I've lived overseas. Then moving to Las Vegas, and hearing someone actually being called the "N" word was a real shock to me. Jaw to the ground and everything, but no one seemed around me to care much. I still have a problem with hearing such racial slurs, but it's not like I can change the world in a day. I ask for people to at LEAST not say such language around me. I can't tell them what to do though, or how to think. ![]() |
