I've been looking for this information for quite a while now, and hopefully someone here will actually help instead of ignoring me. cry.gif Even if you say "I don't know" it'll be more than what I've been getting...

Anyway, look at this person's journal: http://www.livejournal.com/users/spectrum

You see how each of her entry boxes has an image around it? I want to do that for my own, but I have no idea how to code it since I am completely new to LJ styles, and honestly I'm not quite sure where you put it in the style either. pinch.gif

If anyone could help me I'd be enternally grateful.

Thank you in advance!

That particular journal is a paid account, so she has more flexibility as far as the layout goes..

But if you wanted to put a background image in your entries, you could try this:

^I've never actually tried it, but I assume it would work. Let me know!

Also, here are some other places you can put background images:

.entrybox td.caption
.entrybox td.lowerleft
.entrybox td.index
.entrybox td.comments

Respectively, the left upper and lower corners, and the right upper and lower corners.

PS It's too bad that you weren't able to find anyone to even answer you, people are usually more willing to help than that. Anyway, welcome to the boards. :)

Thank you for responding! :D

I haven't tried the code yet, but I'm going to get to that shortly.

And I do have a paid LJ account so it is possible for me to do that, I just need to know how. xD
