Well, Samurai X is the first version of Rurouni Kenshin, which is also more bloody and violent. Rurouni Kenshin is the one where Kenshin doesn't kill.

Kenshin X wasen't that interesting to me.. Didn't give me the kind of thrill and such as rurouni kenshin did.

i think samurai x is so much better cuz its more...serious n u know more about kenshin than in the series. i love watching that movie. the series is..iono. it's not as good.

no doubt about it: samurai x.
better fighting, actually serious and lots of drama, and the characters look better/better animation. |

My friend has the Rurouni Kenshin manga, so I can vote my opinion on that.
I've heard of Samurai x. I didn't know what is what, though. Thanks for clarifying!

Samurai X by far. Animation was much better and very detailed. Although I really think the blood and gore was over the top. But then again Kenshin on Cartoon network is edited. Damn Cartoon Network for tainting animes.

I dunno..Samurai X was just cool, I love all that gory stuff. >.<
But I voted Rurouni Kenshin just because Kenshin was just an awesome character. Sometimes the fight scenes would last on and on, they need to learn to cut down on some of the dialog. But I still like it more, even with the new cheesy theme song.. <3 Francesca |

samurai x is better....excellent fight scenes and more interesting story.....btw didnt samurai x go thru the ruroken saga to...im pretty sure it did....someone check me up on that...

Samurai X was the best. In the Philippines they never changed the name. it was always Samurai X.
 but they did have a channel where they played the Japanese versions and had it entitled Rurouni Kenshin. But I really like Samurai X. BLOOD. and beautiful fighting scenes.
