wtf is right...i guess you can go out to the store and buy yourself your own box and use those...but be careful coz theres a risk of finding out what youve been doing..or mabye you can prove to her that if you use a tampon it doesnt make you lose your virginity by showing her on the internet...;)

I don't think my mom ever says anything stupid, at times when she's yelling at me for doing something wrong though, I think she's unintelligent then..that's because I'd be contradicting and wanting to talk-back but I can't since she's an elder..

haha yeah my friends mom told her she would lose her virginity if she used a tampon, just because it was a thing that entered her in through there and "popped her cherry" so that makes her not a virgin anymore. but wouldnt your mom want you to do that before so that sex is not completely painful? i wouldnt want my daughter to wail during sex or anything and scare the boy..

This thread is pretty upsetting. A lot of you guys are calling your parents, the people that gave you birth, stupid, morons, dumb, ECT. Way to show your respect.
ANYWAY, it's common for foreign parents to not understand American cultures. We grew up around this. It's so much different for them. In other cultures no one is allowed to see/touch your vagina, let alone put anything up there. It’s completely unheard of. Many foreign parents go through a series of culture shock and there way of deal with it is by totally dismissing the ideal without the knowledge of what they are saying no to. I suggest you sit your mom down and explain to her why you want to use a tampon. If you have no particular reason to then her answer would be understandable. There's nothing wrong with pads. I've found that parents are so much easier to get along with if you're not constantly fighting every little thing they say. Just talk to them. They listen and they love you. They just want what's best for you. |

I know this is an old topic but I'll just post anyways.
I love my mom and all, but sometimes she's just not so.. smart.. about things. I'm going to Hawaii in a few days so I asked her if she could buy some tampons just in case something comes up and she starts freaking out. She said they were only for married people or people with "experience" and etc. Crazy. And I agree with May. My mom's not from here so I guess she doesn't understand American culture and such. But sometimes it's just hard for them to accept things and in this case, it's tampons. |
