aw, it really depends on the girl though. i think asking in person is better though...because then it takes away the awkwardness from communicating in a card..and then having to go on a date...you know?
anyway, soemthing simple. make sure you know her well enough though.. "would you like to goto the dance with me" and stay away from pick up lines, unless you mean them as a joke or something...and be sweet! |

Personally, i dont really have a problem with girls, considering i have more friends that are females than males (but i hang out with my guy friends when they go to girl talks  )Steps to success: 1. ACT NORMAL (as if she was a guy, but keep in mind she is a girl) i cant stress this enough. A lot of guys stammer or other nervous acts in front of girls. Some girls like this, some dont. But it's better if u dont, just in case. So act casual, dont make it a big deal. 2. Dont ask abruptly. Go up to her, say something like "heyy" and then work your way into a conversation. When you feel that it's a good time, go like "heyy, you kno that dance? u going with someone already?" then either "kool, i dont have anyone to go with yet" if she does, and "so, you wanna go to the dance with me?" Pretty simple  3. every girl is different be careful wat you say too. She could be the kind that likes the hott guys, or the personality kind. i go for the personality kind cuz im not "hott" and dont get too upset she said no, life's like this. Honestly, you just need to be straight with the girl. If she don't like you and she don't want to go with you then she will say NO. Don't get all angry and shit about it, I am sure there is a girl out there that will say yes.
