get rid of the....., advertise thing on chatterbox....... Options

under my chatterbox...the advertisement is really annoying...can someone help me fix it?

Well, actually... there is a way to remove the ads in your chatterbox. It's fairly complicated though, and you have to have knowledge of html and a little php. I did it once for my site, but i erased it because chatterbox is stupid anyway. Movabletype is the way to go.

Anyways, to get rid of the ads do this:
1. In your chatterbox script, you will see a url. It will be like http://chatter.flooble.com/user/blahblahblah?moreblah.php something like that.

2. Copy this url and make a link to it on your xanga. ei= <a href="http://theurlhere</a>

3. After you make the link, right click on it, and save target as. Name whatever.

4. Now you will need to Upload this script. If you dont have any webspace i would recomend freewebs.com. File must be saved in php form!!!

5. After you upload the script, you can go into the text editor and do your dirty work. Like i said, if you dont know what you are doing, you will only destroy the code and make it un-usable. But if you know html, you will see what needs to be done.

6. Now all you have to do is change the url in the chatterbox code to the url that you just created. Now there will be no ads, and you can change colors, width, stylesheet, anything right in your manager.
