Dear Tung of 2 years ago,

________Why didn't you just do what you wanted to do, instead of obeying your parents. You wouldn't have been stuck here in Davis, and you could've gone to San Diego instead. Also, why didn't you ever give the long distance a try. Not even TRY. You gave up, and look where that's gotten you. You shouldn't have worried so much about what people thought of you that year, because look now. They don't even impact your life. You truly forgot who your real friends were, and were more worried about other people who didn't give a damn about you. You should've never took that Gap job. I mean, I think that was also another reason why you broke up with her, b/c you fell in lust with your co-worker. Shame on you.

Dear Cheryl of 1 year ago,

You should've learned how to be patient with people. You should've thought things over fully and slowly, instead of letting your mind and emotions take control of the moment. You should've learned to have trust in those you were close with before you took them for granted. I wish you thought before you spoke and before you acted on something. I wish you knew that you couldn't have everything your way. Most importantly, you need to learn to be independent. Don't allow yourself to build up pain and tear yourself down in the long-run. Be the bigger person and end it when you know it's gone wrong. Never settle for less than you deserve. And you deserve a lot.
