Sorry for the long post! I'm extremely confused about lots of things. I broke up with my boyfriend of two months at the beginning of May. He was my first boyfriend and I'd been thinking whether or not it was the right thing to break up with him. Then there's this other boy.

On Wednesday, this other boy (we'll call him Bob) asked if I'd like to go to Friendly's before school on Friday since school didn't start until about 11:30 that day. I told him I'd probably be sleeping and asked who all would be there. Just him and me. I said no thanks because I'd obviously be sleeping as much as I could. ((A bit of a background note, I've known Bob since 7th grade (now in 10th grade) and had a crush on him off and on, but only suppressed it since I was sure he would've asked me out by now.))

Saturday comes and he calls around 5:30ish asking if I'd like to go to the movies later to see Pirates 3. I'd seen it the night before, but figured what the heck. We go in and eventually end up going to another theater since that one was sold out. On the way to the other theater he asked what time I had to be home and said he wanted to bring me someplace after the movie. He also asked whether or not I had a boyfriend (obvious clue there). We end up seeing Shrek 3 instead of PIrates 3.

During the movie, he asked to hold my hand. After the movie, we get back into his car and he takes me near this really expensive housing development area (except back in the woods, haha). We walk about ten minutes and get to this area where he set out a blanket, candles, and drinks. He even gives me a flower (which I accidentally ended up demolishing >.<). Apparently, his plan was to let us look up at the stars, but the canopy was blocking the view a bit. So instead, we just talked about random things. The time came for me to leave, since I had to pick up my sister.

It was all really cute, thoughtful, and romantic. But where does this leave us? I'm assuming he wants me to be his girlfriend since he went out of his way to do this. We haven't talked since Saturday since I forgot to give him my cell number, but I plan on calling him today or something.

Should I call him, or wait until tomorrow when we go back to school and talk to him about it?

Well, where do you see yourself happy the most?

With this new kid, who sounds really sweet and sincere, with everything he went through to set up a possible him-asking-you-out (though it's obvious that he will). Or taking a few days/weeks to wonder if breaking up with your ex was the right thing to do.

Since your ex was your first boyfriend, then I guess re-visit to what you were thinking when you broke up with him, and why it is you did it in the first place.

If you do decide to take a chance with "Bob", then yeah, callll him! happy.gif Being on the phone and talking with him has a lesser chance of interruptions, and it gives you a kind of privacy that being in an open, public place like school wouldn't be able to provide. :)

Good luck, and hope everything goes well!
