Attention getter, while giving speech |

So, I have to give a speech about the conflict between China & Taiwan, and it is required that i have some kind of attention getter. It obviously has to be appropriate, and i have a pretty stern teacher, so something that wouldn't... piss of a stern teacher, i guess.
do you have any ideas that i can use to get the audience's attention? |
