I mean, I love her and all, but it's going to be her, her grandmom and grandpop, and a bunch of their friends...hooray, an old person party. It's tonight...well, in a about 2 hours. Any excuses that don't sound lame?? I already told her I could go...but how do I get out of it?

You are making yourself sound like such a bitch and such a bad friend. If you really DO love her, keep her company on her birthday.
