(how do you create a poll???) I was just wondering how many of you never had a boyfriend or girlfriend before.. I'm 19 and I never had girlfriend before and I don't think I'll be able to find one until I'm 22 or something =[

Why are you stressing over the fact that you don't have a girlfriend? Enjoy being single! Being involved in a relationship isn't all that it's made out to be...relations are complicated, and you can get hurt in the process. Being single doesn't bind you to anything, and you're pretty much free to do whatever you please. Having a boyfriend/girlfriend can be a distraction and it is very time consuming.
To answer your question, yes, I've had a boyfriend before, but that was probably about the dumbest thing I've done, and up to this day, I'd rather not have gone through the whole experience then to have gone through it. That was when I was 16, and I never really considered that to be a real boyfriend/girlfriend relationship anyway. My grades dropped because of that, and after we broke up, I was down for a fairly long time...and I'd rather not know what having a boyfriend was like if I was going to have my heart ripped to shreds. The right girl will come for you eventually, and meanwhile, just be yourself, and wait. You can also increase your chances by hanging out with girls more often and talking to them. But remember, if you rush it, it will not work out, and I know because that was what happened to me and my ex. |
