I don't know where this goes, but here goes anyway...
I'm 16 and I've been wearing glasses for a long time and I am really starting to hate them. I was thinking about getting contacts and I have my whole debate ready with my parents and my mom was like...ehh whatever your dad says but he was just...NO. That's it...his reason is that "I don't trust any technology that is at least 20 years old" and it is really stupid. My brother who is 23 has had contacts as soon as he turned 18 because he had the same problem but is there any way I can get them without my parents permission? There is no way that my mom would let me without my dad's permission, and he is really stubborn and I have tried asking him over and over again. I would pay for it myself, but the thing is I need my parents which cause the whole problem. If you are going to just tell me to wait...I really don't want to but if I have no choice I guess I'll have too. |

Well, this guy in my math class, he has these things.. not sure what's its called, but when you wear it at night to sleep.. and take it off the next morning.. it makes your eyes better or something..of course, you gotta do it for a while.. he said, it costs like around $1000 .. =\
i also have glasses, but i only wear them when i need to. Beacause i cant see far, its jsut a big blur .. =( |

Beacause i cant see far, its jsut a big blur .. =(  They're inventing all sorts of stuff linked to contacts nowadays, apparently in Japan they've invented these contacts which dissolve during the night, so when you wear them to sleep you don't have to take them out, of course that would be like one of the most expensive packages, freaky stuff. Anyway I wear contacts, like you I've worn glasses for quite some time, by wearing contacts you may even notice your face changes when you don't wear frames, my face has changed a little after getting contacts, and also your eyes gets bigger as well because you don't have to stress from squinting when wearing glasses. |
