I am experimenting with Photo Manipulation in Photoshop CS2, and I need some help into what tools I should/could use? For example, this designers piece: http://www.destill.net/medusa.html.
I want to make a photo turn into something dramatic like that. I need help onto how to use certain tools and what tools to use. Any advanced photoshop tutorials would be great as well. Thanks in advance. |

Creativity. That's the best "tool" you can have. He's quite fond of the pen tool and slapping random crap together.

Hmm. I'm guessing 3D programs are sometimes (if not, often) used to render certain things for a photo manip. But yeah, it's also a matter of slapping shit together seamlessly.
