Headline script Options

Hi all, I'm having a problem getting the <script> part of the "Customizing the Default Picture" code to stay in the headline. Everytime I leave the editing area of my myspace, it disappears, and when I go to view my profile I can see the "heroes" section on the left again, which was hidden. Does anyone know how to get this to stay?
