What is it with this downward spiral of procrastination?
You know you have to get your shit done, and yet you haven't cracked open a book and you're like...f**k it. I'm already screwed. I might as well fail. SOMEBODY SAVE ME FROM THIS ENDLESS ABYSS OF DESPAIR. |

I think we're all going through that right now
I missed a whole day of school today, and all I got done was my reading for tomorrow's class. I spent most of the day watching YouTube videos, going on cB, watching TV, and eating cereal. And I just realized recently that my first English paper is due next Friday, and I haven't even finished reading the play yet. And I hardly have any time to do it this weekend because I'm working more hours than usual. >< |

Get your mom to hide your laptop from you, and lock yourself in your room to study. DO IT. I did that for about two hours today and I got my reading done.... not like it was too much progress, but it's something!

I went to meet the greeks instead of going to class tonight! Yes, my downward spiral continues as well....and to think, I was actually going to go see Cold War Kids next week.

I put off my history paper until 8am Wednesday morning (it was due at 11), at which point I said f**k it and went back to sleep. It's not that big of a deal, though, because I have one every week, they're pass/fail, and it's not like I'm going to fail any i actually do.

haha, story of my life.
Yep, here I am at school and I am putting of a 300 WORD paper! 300 frigging words. I can do that in my sleep. Yet, i still won't do the easiest thing there is to do. =/ In fact, I think I am going to continue watching Sex and the City until about 12:20, and then I'll get started on this paper. My class starts at 2 so it's alright. I can get it done in an hour or two. |

I should have just finished that anthropology assignment instead of read the pages assigned for today. The TA emailed us saying we'd discuss the chapter thoroughly, so I made SURE I read it all.
Yeah, so we didn't really discuss it at all and now I've wasted a freebie late assignment. Woot. |

So far, I haven't missed class. But I've put off plenty of work. Even when I sit down with the intention of doing it, I get bored and leave it. I need go sit somewhere without any distractions and just get it done.

Shit.
I have a paper due tomorrow, and I haven't even started actually writing for it yet. I'm still deciding on a thesis... I've changed it at least four times in the last three hours. I am so f**king screwed. Good thing it's only 4 pages long. |

^ I'm in the same position, except I have a thesis, I've got 1 single-spaced page written, and it needs to be 7 pages double-spaced.

Oh man, good luck!!
I finally decided on a thesis, and am now looking for evidence to back it up through my books (I'm comparing and contrasting two characters from two different Shakespearean plays). My essay outline is looking pretty good so far... I just hope I'll be able to connect my thoughts together when I actually start writing the essay. |

Lalala I need to read 5 more chapters of OB.
That's like 200 pages. And I need to know them all by Wednesday night. So I am just a little bit screwed. |

^ Are there chapter summaries at the back? If so, you can just skim through it and then go read the summaries. That's what I did for some of my anthropology reading... it gets too tedious, y'know?
I'm still working on my essay outline... I haven't even touched the actual essay yet. I have a little less than 16 hours left until this paper is due... should I just go to sleep for a couple of hours and write the essay later? Or should I just stay up until I'm totally finished? |
