Every time I rec this book, I have to give fair warning that something horrible happens to the poor cats. D: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, Dance Dance Dance, Sputnik Sweetheart, and South of the Border, West of the Sun (I'm reading the copy I bought and I like it, just not as much as Kafka because that book is crazy awesome) are all good. The first two are about as long as Kafka on the Shore, and are also trippy reads in a good way; the last two are shorter and easier to get through. I plan to own all his books as soon as possible, since right now I only own the novels I just recommended to you. |
