This is a tutorial for making pallets for vectoring/vexeling so when you use it your layers blend smoothly.

1. Open Photoshop and make a 600x50 document.

2. Using the gradient tool and make a black to white gradient horizontally across you image

3. Now we will make the bars. Go to Filter>>Pixelate>>Mosaic. Make the cell size 15. Now you have separate boxes.

4. Now press Ctrl+u to color your pallet. Make sure colorize is checked and play around with the three levels until you get a nice skin tone, lip tone, ect.

5. Now you have pallets like these:
Skin:

6. make sure you save this because I’ve been in the middle of a vector/vexel and lost my pallet and I didn’t have my colors.

7. When vectoring/vexeling use the eye dropper tool to select your color.
