Did you mean how to burn CD in Amazon? Well, the MP3 files downloaded from the Amazon MP3 store should be compatible with most CD burning software or CD and DVD players capable of reading MP3 audio files.

yeah, but i think he's talking about that those files are too big to be burned onto a cd.

try going for a blank dvd since it'll hold more

sorry, i should've been more specific. I downloaded that cd (all in mp3 format). I'm using amazon as an example to show that the cd exceeds 80 minutes. I now want to get all the songs on a cd so i could listen it on my cd player.

Would a dvd works in a cd player?
kryogenix
buy it, pour some gasoline on it, and throw a match on it

that should take care of all 23 songs

anyone else?

Well, I can tell you that a DVD won't work in a CD player.

The CD format of it comes in two discs, so you're probably going to have to burn the songs onto two CDs. I think if it were just a few minutes over the 80 minute mark you could get all the songs onto one CD, but I don't think it's going to happen with it being this long.

^ for a second, i thought it was one disc, bc itunes shows it as one continous, and not broken up into two discs.

hm have u tried any other software besides itunes for burning music?

Well 80 minutes is just an approximate, you can always just compress the files a bit and try burning it again, or burn it as two disks.

Compression reduces file size, not duration. He'd actually have to cut parts of the tracks to reduce them to 80 minutes in length.

I don't know if audio CDs are different than regular data CDs, as I've got little experience with burning them, but if they are then it just says 80 minutes is approximately how much you can fit into the 700 MB your average CD gives you.

Also, it mentions that it's a two disk album in one of the comments, and burning to two disks should still be an option.

Audio CDs are 80 minutes, period. CD players only read one format, so you can't compress or use a different file type to pack more audio time onto a CD.
