Anyone going to summer school / taking summer courses? What are you taking?
Joanne
I AM. FOR 4 WHOLE f*ckING MONTHS. Summer school, every year until I graduate. Yay.

1 100-level: Introduction to Fiction (theme is "Religious fiction: The prose and cons")
1 200-level: History of Psychology
1 300-level: Business Communication (apparently one of the hardest business courses, and it isn't curved...)

It's kay I've been in summer school every summer of college + worked full time :] This summer is no exception. Hopefully during law school I can chill and go to Europe or something during the summer.

I'm taking:

Marketing 3336
INTB 3300 [international business]
Another Stat class :(

Joanne, you need a history of psychology? Is that just a core requirement you need?

Yeah, I guess taking summer school isn't too bad... I mean, it's pretty much a norm at my school because we go by a tri-mester system.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting you're a business student! What are you concentrating in again? I have a feeling you said accounting a while ago...

Haha, no actually. We're reading The Da Vinci Code, Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana, Kingdom Come, Hey Nostradamus!, and Brick Lane. I was really excited for The Da Vinci Code, but turns out my prof chose it as one of the books because he wanted to tear it apart for Dan Brown's atrocious writing style. I was really shocked, but I guess it's pretty interesting too... and yay for getting to read a comic book! biggrin.gif

It's required for both a Psych major and minor, so there's no avoiding it. I had my first 3-hour lecture for it today, and omfg. Almost died of complete boredom.
