Basically i've made a background with a DIV over the top of it.

The images in the div are the same as beneath them only darker.. I want to roll over the images and have it show the image below.

I dont know if what I've got is right, or if I need something else to go along with it... Never tried Myspace rollovers before

Please help :)

Heres my codes:

CODE
<style>
.nav1 { top: 599px; width: 900px; margin-left: -450px; _margin-left: -450px; left: 50%; text-align: left; position: absolute; z-index: 2; }

.nav1 a:hover { border-top: none; opacity: 0.0; filter: alpha(opacity=0); z-index:9;}</style>
</style>

CODE
<div class="nav1"><table id="Table_01" width="900" height="50" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td>
<img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_01.jpg" width="60" height="50" alt=""></td>
<td>
<a href="http://messaging.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=mail.messageV3&friendID=323557430&MyToken=a1524fc5-9bba-4adc-a1f7-001167e09d66"><img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_02.jpg" width="162" height="50" alt=""></a></td>
<td>
<img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_03.jpg" width="120" height="50" alt=""></td>
<td>
<img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_04.jpg" width="193" height="50" alt=""></td>
<td>
<img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_05.jpg" width="133" height="50" alt=""></td>
<td>
<img src="http://www.littlekingdesign.co.uk/tpmyspace/images/buttons_06.jpg" width="232" height="50" alt=""></td>
</tr>
</table></a></div>

I did try it first.. thats why I asked.

I've managed to get it working now by using

CODE

<style>
.nav1 { top: 599px; width: 900px; margin-left: -450px; _margin-left: -450px; left: 50%; text-align: left; position: absolute; z-index: 9; }

.nav1 a:hover { border-top: none; visibility:hidden;}</style>
</style>

But now it flickers all the time. Is this due to a download issue?

I tried the first one around 5 times and it just wont work. I can even drag the image away (mac) and see the image i want to reveal underneath.
The link works fine if that helps you at all.

Thanks for your help by the way, much appreciated.

you can close if you want, but its still not working. I'm using the exact codes i pasted here and it the weird thing now is that a small section of the button dissapears and reveals the background.
