Ok, I'm a huge yaoi fan and I barely read anything else. I am trying to expand my anime horizon though. Can ya'll suggest some good anime with maybe(!) a girl main character that takes no shit? I hate reading manga where the girl(or guy...) is a push-over/sissy. Or cries a lot. Fekkin annoying.

What kind of genres are you into? Besides yaoi. Like, action, suspense, etc.?

I'll pretty much read anything if it appeals to my taste. I guess I like action/comedy stories the best(with a little romance mixed in). I mean, I'm not totally anti-female character, but most of the time when I see "she, her, girl" in the description I put it back. LOL! I've been stopping that though. Wallflower has become my new favorite series & I love Maburaho & Haruhi Suzumiya. So that's a start.

And I have books 1-23 of Bleach, but I'm kind of over it. It's too damn long! The same thing with Naruto. Plus it got annoying after a while. I would like to finish them, but that's never going to happen. I can't even bring myself to finish Death Note(though I know everything that happens, internet spoilers ftw)!

I'd recommend Rurouni Kenshin, but then I realized that Kaoru can be VERY annoying. XD

And I know what you mean about Bleach. I have all the volumes too, and I used to be all "ZOMG THE NEXT VOLUME'S OUT MUST GO BUY!" but now it's like "geez, how many more volumes of this series am I going to spend money on?"

You should read Claymore. I haven't read it yet because I'm currently addicted to shoujo/josei manga, but one of my guy friends is addicted to it. Plus it has a higher rating on baka updates AND you can read it online..

Lol, I watched/read Loveless back in 05 and er...I didn't like it that much. xD The lesbians were my favorite characters.

Let Dai by Sooyeon Won(drama to the extreme! At 15 volumes, it's longer than the usual yaoi series, but it's so worth it spending money on)
Anything by Fumi Yoshinaga(my favorite mangaka, anything she writes, I'll read )
Wild Adapter by Kazuya Minekura(while it's not really yaoi/shounen-ai, it STRONGLY hints at it)
Can't Win With You! by Satosumi Takaguchi & Yukine Honami(completely adorable and funny/angsty)

Kizuna by Kazuma Kodaka(this one's pretty hardcore in the sex dept.)

^^ Contrary to popular belief, most yaoi stories have very good story lines. Sure, there's a little sex, but it usually just adds to the plot. I do love me some pr0n though.

Just so you know, I've had my fair share of smutty mangas. In addition, my earlier post mentioned "shounen-ai" and "yaoi", so yea I wouldn't mind reading some of them (yaoi). However, I am under the impression that it's not straight out porn. That's why I'm asking for titles that are a good read, and not just for straight out BL the whole time.

Plenty of shounen/seinen mangas have ecchi in them, and people still read them. It's not a big deal as long as your are comfortable with reading it.
