Well, I'm not really into Neopets or anything, but I don't think that having a Neopets layout section is a bad idea. I'm always looking for new ways to bring new members to this site. There are millions of users on Neopets, and having a Neopets layout section would open the door to hoards of new people joining the site.
I got this idea here:

HEREAre there enough 13+ members on Neopets??
Yes, there are. Check out these statistics:
QUOTE
Growth RateNeopets' membership has grown at an astounding rate - from approximately 90,000 in April 2000 to more than 30 million in June 2005. Approximately
thirty-nine percent of Neopets' members are age twelve and under; forty percent are between the ages of thirteen and seventeen, and twenty-one percent are age eighteen and older. Significantly, Neopets' explosive growth rate has been "viral" - meaning that the impetus for this dynamic growth has been word-of-mouth from user to user, not commercial advertising.
Memberships:
Demographics:
- Under 13 years old - 39%
- 13-17 years old - 40%
- 18 and older - 21%
- Female: 60%
- Male: 40%
60% of Neopet's 1,000,000+ members are over 13 years of age. Please stop shilling BS and start stating facts. Yes, Neopets does allow younger children to join the site, but the majority of those members are 13+. Also, I doubt the majority of members who are younger than 13 years of age will be surfing the web for information regarding HTML for their Neopets layouts.
Are they (members 13+) active?

Time On Site:
An average of 5 hours 24 minutes per month [comScore Media Metrix - July 2006].
Ranked 2nd on the entire Internet.
The average user spends 5 hours and 24 minutes per month. It seems as if members on the site are pretty active. I see your point, and I'm going through the youth studies that Neopets has offered it's members... hopefully they will provided some data as to what demo graphics took the study. At the moment I have come up with this:
In 2002 80% of the people who participated in the survey were 18 years old and under (roughly 12,000).
QUOTE
15,902 US resident NeoPets members (12,512 aged 18 or under) provided data across the four survey instruments used in this report.
This means that about 3000 of them were over 18 years of age. These people are all active users (active enough to take the youth survey). With such a large number of responses the margin of error is very low. This is a fairly accurate representation of what the demographic for the active user over age of 18 would be.
This also corresponds with the percentage of users over 18 being 21% (2006). Yes, I know that this was in 2004, but Neopets has only grown since then. The demographic probably hasn't changed. I can only imagine that the active members who are 13+ would still hold about 60% of the websites active population.
That's about 18,000,000 people... even if you cut that by 75% to get a guesstimate of how many active members their are it's still 4,500,000 people. There aren't many Neopets layout sites, and I think that it would boost traffic to the site like crazy.
