Hey guys. When I try to pay someone for something on paypal, they give me this:

Aug. 29, 2005/ Payment To Name/ Uncleared/ Details/ -$7.00 USD

What does the uncleared mean? All I know is that it takes 2-3 days to clear up.. then the people recieve the money from me. Does it have to do with my funding type? How can I change it so when every time I pay, the person gets the money right away?

Thanks for all your help!

I hate using paypal, I only use it on ebay because I believe that's the only option.

I guess all fundint types like Creadit Cards/ Bank Accounts or Checks are directly linked to your account, and date limit for clearance is 3 days (but that depends on your account Status, that + is how many times you verified your account etc...)

A good idea will be to contact the PayPal Support Team.

PS:Btw dont give your Paypal e-Mail/password to any1,even they are your friends (and dont click on all site's who are sellings things,it might read your password, and you only get a "Picture of the product you wanned to buy" ,becarefull! because not all site's supports Chargeback, even PayPal try's to get the money back they can't do anything.)

beware of those emails too, the ones that say they're from PayPal, but aren't. Always mouse over the links to PayPal in those emails, and if they don't say "Paypal.com", don't click or give them any info....

but besides that, I think that means that $7.00 hasn't cleared or wasn't there when you paid for the item. Contact PayPal, and see what they say. Also contact your bank or credit company and see if it's on their end as well.

PayPal is not the only option on eBay. You can sometimes pay with money orders or well-concealed cash. Just read the Payment Options section on the item auction page and it will tell you what types of payment the seller accepts.

my dad uses paypal. it seems to work right away. im not sure how it works, but he never says anything about it not working and his stuff comes about 2-5 days later.
