well, i noticed that a lot of girls around here wear bikini tops under white tank tops (like...wife beaters). i think it's cute, but a friend of mine thinks it's slutty.... what do you guys think?

Unless you're going to the beach, the look is more than a little slutty.
Bikini tops generally don't provide the support that a bra does. SO when you're going about your normal business, the breasts bounce around more than usual. AND the bikini top shows through the wife beater unless you layer.

yeah i think a halter bikini top under a tank top looks okay
i've seen alot of ppl around here with that look
i personally wouldn't though.

I think that's stupid replacing a bikini top as a bra.

I've only seen that done at the beach. And I've done it before.. at the beach.

bikini top? no...bra? yeah I do it. I think its got that I'm showing underwear and I dont care look. but its excessive if you can see more than the straps. I remember these girls came into blockbuster wearing black bras, and like, xl mens wifebeaters. the arm holes went down past the bottom of their bra. u could see all up in their stuff. Can u say skank? Thats unneccesary. but I think having the colored straps hanging out of a tank is cute...so if u have a supportive bikini top, go ahead.

I've seen girls wearing that around...during the spring...in school. First of all, it was against dress code, secondly...well, it just makes you look more than a little skanky.
Wow, I sound quite like a broken record

fine at the beach/pool. stupid for anywhere else, because it's just like a colourful, support-less bra

I LOVE that look when I'm going to the beach. And even when I'm going to the club, because it gets hot in there. But if you're going to the mall or the movies or just out - No.

It's ok if you are going to the beach/pool.
I haven't seen anyone wear it like that in school, though.
But I don't think it's slutty, it's just not right.

bikini tops are more expencive than bras
lol. anyways. yah i do it all the time. not at school, but nobody really minds it cause it's hawaii. you don't know when you're gonna go to the beach. heh. and when all your bras are in the wash, it's an alternative :) i've never done it with white tanks though. i've done it with almost every other color!

i'd say it's less slutty than a see through tanktop with no bra, or just a bikini top.

I'd never wear my bikini when I'm not going to go swimming or something, I find my bras alot mroe comfertable anyway so...what's the point?

what is the big deal if it's a bra or a bikini top? you're still seeing the same skin and same amounts. they're basically the same type of thing.
i've never done it but some people probably do it because the design of their bikini is pretty or something.

I don't think it's too bad. I think it's kinda cute. I have a top where the straps are sewed on to the shirt so it looks like you are wearing the bikini top already
FOr me just as long as the tank is not too thin or too low it's fine plus it's summer ... it's hot ... it's fine!

That's hot, but who wears a bikini outside of a swimming pool?
I don't even like swimming.
