Breakfast club, Sixteen candles, St. Elmo's Fire, The Goonies (I love love love Data (the asian kid!!!), Dirty Dancing, and much more. I love the 80's

i used to think that those movies sucked...my boyfriend saw this special about the breakfast club somewhere on tv so he downloaded. i was like, "i don't want to watch some stupid movie from back in the day

Star Wars is from 1977, actually.

But those are all great. I'd have to agree with the top four (if you include
The Empire Strikes Back and
Return of the Jedi under the
Star Wars heading), at least. And
The Breakfast Club. Those five were awesome movies.

St. Elmo's Fire was all that and a bag of skittles. Especially that Rob Lowe...[we happen to share a birthday..]
Ghostbusters 1 & 2...I pretty much grew up watching those.
oh..and Coming to America was pretty good..but not as good as Boomerang..but that's the 90's..

Hands down, "Better Off Dead"...that's the end all, be all of 80's flicks for me...it's probably one of my all time favorite movies...darkly comedic, it's a movie for all of us outcasts, the ones who actually knew/know people like Ricky and who have spent more time drawing cartoons and fantazing than studying for their math test.
